In today's video, I talk about the fan favorite solos from SEASON 3 and SEASON 4. There are some I agree with and some I don't. Watch to find out which ones those are. The reason I loved Mackenzie in Cry was because, to me, she really portrayed the character of someone who’s smiling on the outside and crying on the inside. I loved watching her do contemporary, even when it wasn’t perfect.

Her technique in that solo.. pained me. BUT I do agree she did well for someone who doesn’t do contemporary very well.

I unfortunately can’t even watch her do that solo because her legs and feet were so bad I was genuinely shocked she was 9/10 it was like watching a 6 year old doing their 1st solo

Do you regret how you treated all the girls besides Maddie and Mackenzie? I mean having the ability of hindsight I would hope you realize that you should treat everyone equal. Especially since the two I would say you treated like daughters don’t speak to you anymore. And the one girl you treated worse than everyone besides Mia is the only one who still talks to you and I am talking about JoJo. And go figure she is the most famous. It’s amazing how life works. I do hope this has changed the way you treat your students.
well considering season 8 I think not. lilly constantly having panic attacks. Presley was body shamed, elliana called a 2nd place dancer and don't get me started on poor Sarah.
@@abbyharris3385 I’m only on season 5 with my niece. She had already watched the first couple seasons. I haven’t let her know I’m hooked on this drama lol god help me 😂❤️

Chloe's solo into me had an amazing costume, Amazing choreography i just love that solo, definitely one of my favourite
Just sad how cruel Abby was to that beautiful dancer! She now suffers eating disorders.. hope Abby is proud.. Maddie hates her now and other girls are in pain ..

I love to see Abby get to really teach us about the dance ...we didnt get enough of that on the show
I so wish the show would have been more of a positive theme then a drama. there were plenty of networks that a more educational focus on the dances and the girls as they grow. I think Abby would have looked different.

No they waited in line because she was on a TV show. Most of her actual dancers left the studio right before and just after the show started

i agree sooo much with abby when she was talking about the lack of stamina in Kendall, though she is still a pretty good dancer

@kellymcquay2626 You build it up by dancing. It's almost like she was lazy in rehearsal and went tried slightly harder on stage which is why it never really built up. I mean she's a great dancer but i agree with Abby when she said she's kind of lazy. Laurieann also thought so too.
I like how she actually compliments them all!
She didnt compliment Kenzie at all with her Cry dance. It was nothing but negativity which is 100% Abby's fault considering she didnt give it to her because it was something she would excel at she only gave it to her so she could compare her to Maddie.

Abby basically confirmed the whole scene where Maddie was “gifted” Rachel’s song was fake because she had already given them access to her library. Still love Maddie. I just wonder why the producers were so evil enough to cause drama in order to get views . I would’ve rather watched the dancing and that’s it because Abby is great choreographer/teacher and I’m sure the show would do just as well.
Maybe it was one of those songs that wasn’t released yet and personally said that it was for Maddie
It was fake for the most part, but Rachel knew it would be on Dance Moms. She imagined it being used for a Maddie solo. She had Maddie dancing in mind. The song wasn't written for her, but she could see Maddie dancing to it.

Anyone else feel weird watching Abby be nicer to these kids then she was during the entire run of the show?
I literally LOVEEEE these. Please keep doing these… I would literally watch you react to every single solo on both this show AND your dance competition show and will not get bored.. love ya Abby!

It’s really touching watching Cathy with her adopted daughter. It really gives you an insight to what she is like off camera. Just a beautiful moment when they are together

That birthday solo was beautiful. I could see her face kinda fall when she was doing something difficult like Abby said. But it was amazing! Please do season 5 and 6!!
Abby, I was wondering if you’d show your favorite dances you’ve ever choreographed from dancers that have maybe gone off to broadway or other jobs. Your choreography is beautiful and I’d love to see dances you got complete creative control over. Perhaps from one of your showcases. Thank you for your videos :)
so sad leaving berlin wasn’t included in this, truly maddie’s best solo and tbh one of the best dances ever on the show😭💔
Agreed. Actually I preferred it to All God’s Creatures, which she did in season 5. I felt the one you’re referencing from season 3 was superior.

Come on Abby let’s not pretend like Maddie didn’t fall out of her turns and rush a lot we watched the six seasons she was on lol
There's 2 versions of every dance so in the judged version maybe she didn't fall out as much as we were shown
I’d actually like to see her talk about Sophia Lucia even though she wasn’t on the show for very long

kendall did a good job too maybe not emotionally but I preferred her technique to maddie
listening to abby off the show and out of the contract, I really get the feeling she cared and adored all of the girls. I am sure she didn't like the moms and that wasn't hard for her on the show. but I just feel like the wanted her to seem like cruela Deville and the girls were all Dalmatians
My favorite trio is definetly Abby's Angel I've even learned it 😂

asia is probably the only one still in touch with her if you don't include her new season 8 team. I am surprised she can make this video mentioning some of these girls

These are only dances from Seasons 3 & 4. That was in Season 7.
I love how Abby brings out sensuality, maturity, flirting and accountability in her dancers including the boys.
Gets them out of their shells and conquer shyness and show the audience what they have to show to the people who come to see the show.
I don’t dance, but Abby’s critiques apply to figure skating too. (I skate lol) the facials have to be there. You hav to tell a story. Also the posture while your skating is important for your jumps and spins and footwork, but also it looks nicer. Although I can’t dance, what Abby says helps me too lol thanks Abby!
You should react to Kenzie’s dances on dancing with the starts
What my dance teachers say is that every time the song elevates again you bring your energy back up
I love how each dance routine you explain and tell what you would improve. Your are the best!!!!
I’m not a big fan of kenzies cry, it’s easy to tell the dance was no choreographed for her strengths
hi abby! i hope youre reading this and I just want to say thank you. i don’t have enough money for dance class and watching the show makes me want to dance so bad. i have a playlist of my favorite dances and i put youtube on the tv and try to do the dances and i just want to say thank you because if it was for the show i wouldn’t have realized how much i love to dance ❤️
I agree with you on that 👍 I love to dance and I do miss doing it. I always took tap, ballet and jazz and I do want to go back to it so badly, but I got hurt so I just have to wait, but this show is great 👍 👌

Do all seasons! Even the stuff where you acted in a way you know you shouldn’t have. Most people are forgiving and understanding when you admit your mistakes and speak what’s on your heart and your mind. As the scripture goes: speak the truth in love.

Abby, I was thinking about this girl I dated about ten yrs ago or so and she had a daughter who I used to watch your show with. She was in love with you and all the girls. I was sad to learn of the problems you have faced but after hearing what you have already been through I knew it was just a matter of time before you were back to doing what you love. I’ll admit you are a tough cookie and as I’ve grown older(48) I can appreciate the tough as nails, no nonsense approach. I understand all your girls are millionaires so they should thank you but unfortunately I read somewhere that they didn’t talk to you anymore except JoJo who as much crap as you gave her I admired her so much. Her mom and dad did an amazing job raising her. They should be really proud as should you. I wish you the best in getting well and getting back to working with kids because I believe that’s what you were put on this earth for. Best wishes from Atlanta, Jason

I remember watching Mackenzie and thinking "there's something not right with her front aerials". That was it!!! A lot of people thought it looked different because she's a leftie but no! Thank you for explaining!!

About the comment of Kendall looking like she’s dancing underwater; I always thought that was the beauty of her dancing! Now obviously I’m not a dance expert by any means, in fact I have no experience whatsoever, so my opinion is probably wrong lol. But I always thought it gave her this pretty elegance on stage! I guess you don’t really want elegance in a high energy dance, though. She probably scored much higher in lyrical routines
Maddie just has all of this in her naturally! Just as you said, the stage is her home.

I love this show 😄 very much ❤ it's so cute and interesting but what I do love the best is when Abby kicks Cathy's ass!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Cathy thinks that she always has some kind of a plan that will make Abby's girls lose, but it never works and Cathy's high hopes and her plan always backfires 💣💥 in her face!

The smile when she looks at the students you can just see she loves them!
Maddie is so tiny but her limbs are so long and skinny, this had to help her dancing.
Btw I remember when I did competitions every dance I did I was like Kendall. No stamina. They said it was because I breathed through my mouth instead of my nose. I don’t know if that’s true.
But you was never fair it was always about Maddie to you not the rest of the girls in the group it's crazy you never gave the rest of the girls there credit they was amazing you needed the rest of the girls on this show

Abby is 100% honest in her critiques of the dances. Not only is she brilliant, she is consistent in what she sees, wants to see and how to correct the errors. Abby did A LOT more for these girls than they will ever give her credit for. For all the people out there wanting to blame Abby for being tough, remember the MOTHER'S wanted the game and glory for themselves and the kids so they are responsible for their children's anxieties etc. NOT Abby.
