Ladies, that was absolutely lovely. I daily remember living in England in the late 1950’s, and this song almost always comes to mind, the orchestral arrangement. From now on, it will be yours that I hear. Thank you and bless you all.
I first experienced your performance a year ago. Every time I have viewed it, I am more appreciative of what an awesome creation it is. The synergy of a system is valued when the output is greater then merely the sum of the parts. The incredible harmony you ladies produce so fulfills this simple truth. You ladies are truly awesome and you so shine. The world needs your beauty and your magic. Please keep on shining.... with love and respect... Carl
There are many versions of this great work that I truly enjoy but I come back to this one again and again.A treasure.Thank you to Ronald Binge and to you ladies.

I've been longing to hear this song for so long...my sisters sang it at school in the choir in the 70s and I never forgot it. You will laugh at the words that I put in whilst searching😂😂😂finally I found the right words...thank you ladies...it sounded just as I remembered it...beautiful rendition indeed❤👌
Thank you so very much. That was beautiful. I have always loved the Elizabeth Serenade and I still get a lot of enjoyment from this beautiful piece 🙏🦅🕊🕊🐈
One of the loveliest tunes ofbALLTIME, imagine , first hearing this bunJAMES LAST, but over the years, I had heard so any versions of this most lovely, melodies , yours is just lovely & followed the words via subtitles, carry on Cheers 🏴🏴🏴🇬🇧🇺🇸
Bravissimi tutti! And for me, you did it at just the right pace. Thanks! Too many versions sound to me like either they're worried about catching the last bus home or they need to go to the "smallest room" PDQ. I'd only heard the German lyrics, (Hör mein Lied Elisabeth), before, so I had to look up Christopher Hassall 's English lyrics. Wow, he had to do a few metrical and rhythmical backflips to make it fit the (seemingly) simple tune and be singable. So, bravi again, ladies, for pulling it off so gracefully.
Hi, I've just checked and according to the sheet music, this two-part arrangement is by the composer himself. I'll add that to the video description. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you!
Sang in 8th Grade Choir in 1968 - thanks for reviving memories!?

The best vocal version is by The Black Dyke Mills Band .
Thanks for the recommendation, we'll be sure to give that a listen! The brass instruments must make for a lovely accompaniment.
