Awesome tour Tony! It is almost mind blowing just how big that cemetery! It is probably going to take you the rest of the year to cover it. Thank you again.
About 30+ years ago, a friend and I “found our way” in to the chapel at the front. At that time it had been closed/semi-abandoned for a good number of years. There are cremation ovens there, but the at the time the looked very old and out of date. Also around that time, the overgrown “Tower” around Acacia Ave and Graceland Ave still was accessible. The crypts were empty, but the stairs going down into it were not yet overgrown as well.
Is there a new onsite crematorium at Cypress Lawn, or do they do the cremations elsewhere?! It just seems more convenient to cremate, then inter the ashes on the same site rather than travelling from one place to another!! Just my thoughts on the matter!! EXCELLENT video, as always, Tony!! XXXX 👍💖
Loved the tour; interesting! Thank you, Tony. Much appreciated!! …..🌝
Appreciate you sharing this amazing cemetery Tony🪦🕊💜 That pergola memorial is so unique🪦🕊
Lovely walk as usual. Love the stories. Some really important local folks there
Yes Linda. Very interesting to find out about a lot of the people that came before. In the bay area Cypress Lawn has the biggies.

😁
Those were definitely horse cremations on the floor, have one myself.☹️
Speaking of pineapples, does anybody remember PSYCH? 🍍🍍 The running gag of hiding pineapples in each episode😂
Actually I never watch that show
@@CryptDoor it's pretty funny😂
I would see things here and there it seems funny
Not pineapples, but artichokes symbols of weath in the 1800's they were wrong in guessing pineapples who would welcome someone to a mosoleum?
