Jabalpur is also known as Sanskardhani.... Now we are not living in Jabalpur's but being a jabalpuriya... I always miss navratri and dussehra festival celebrated over there... Big pandals, street foot everything

I grew up in Jabalpur , studied in St. Aloysious , used to stay in Narmada Road - I'm sure Jabalpur would have changed a lot from the mid seventies - I miss the softy's from Modern Stores , cutting tea from Anna ki dukan in Pentinaka , Masladosa in a eatery in sadarbazar near Mahavir Talkies .... the Bhajiyas , Kachori near Rampur Tigada and endless chatter with friends and cricket practice in Talaiya with friends Uday Patel , Mukesh Patel , Manoj Lal , Pavan Sood , Ravi Yadav , Hardesh Sharma , Pawan Gambhir & many more .... my place , love & proud being a Jabalpuriya .

My grandfather(a doctor) in his childhood and great-grandfather contributed to the freedom struggle. They would supply weapons to our freedom fighters that time!
Also my grandmother (also a doctor) has had greeted smt. Indira Gandhi with a salute in her visit to jbp as my grandmother was a platoon commander that time!

I follow you guys since so long and now you are at my home... but there is one thing that I want to tell you that when we talk about "punya" so It is believed that the mere sight of Mother Narmada washes away all the sins." Mother is the most sacred river of India. And yes, due to the rain, the full show of Mother's Aarti could not be found, you must go and cover it again. Thanks to you I am able to be at my home once again.
We will do that for sure.
