The girlfriend thing definitely depends on their label. Some labels allow relationships in private (they can't be public about it) while others don't allow any at all. Hyuna and Dawn are two idols who had a public relationship with one another and I'm pretty sure they were dropped from their labels because of it.
Yea Cube ent. kicked them out but now they are under PSY's ent. They're under P Nation now. So as for right now, P Nation is the only ent that has accepted being in a relationship publicly.

@@superrainbow8952 any predecessors can inspire and influence, and if they [bb] were the first to spread kpop past Asia especially. but i feel what was mainly key for bts' global success was their fan outreach on social media, since they were disadvantaged w/ Korean media, and unique charisma from being unafraid to be honest on camera. i feel to transcend global barriers, the bulk of the credit needs to go to bts themselves for being leaders in speaking on mental health which is so taboo in korea, and they were underdogs and hated on so much and sharing their pains really spoke to and healed so many. the fact that they wrote and produced, creating a voice with their artistry, and then sharing of their pain and opinions of korean society so freely which was taboo. they were leaders and innovative in many ways. another part was timing of one direction hiatus. maybe another part also is their hiphop background.
BTS often forgets they are famous. They crack me up! They are the best... so humble.

OK so long story short in K pop, groups bow to each other as a sign of respect if there is a group who debut before you or an artist who debut before you then you bow to them since they are your seniors.
If you are older than the perosn they will address you as Hyung(older brother) or Noona (older sister) .
Some of these groups debut after bts (bts debut June 13,2013)
So they bow to bts who are the seniors but also because a lot of people look up to BTS.
These are at award shows so they're basically a bunch of groups and other idols who are just bowing to each other when they see each other on stage because that's what they do a lot of celebrities are bts fans.

Let’s be honest considering how big they are now and how old they are getting they do have probably have a couple of girlfriends, Jin pushing 30 and y’all really think he gonna stay single, they already became rich and worldwide famous so they ain’t gonna be scared of delulu fans anymore

During the trainee period before they debut, they are not allowed to date it is a distraction. After they debut, they need to be discreet because fandoms are sensitive. They can ruin a group’s career which is the reason you don’t see idols talking at the award shows. If some people even think one of BTS member’s is talking to someone in Black Pink, the Blinks and Army may have a social media fight. Harassing posts. If they speak, then rumors start that they are dating.
Also, the hotel room thing is because there was a popular solo artist who had a very jealous girlfriend from a wealthy family. She even yelled at female fans who talked to him. They found him dead in his hotel room(tour). He had a crazy number of needle marks on his right arm.
Everyone believe the girlfriend killed him because he was right handed, so the needle marks should have been on his left arm. She got away with it because of her family’s status.
