    Nice video. Wondering if it's also good for dek hockey inside a Gym (on polish concrete). ? Wondering if it would be sticky ... Thanks !

      Yea would feel a little bit sticky, what I do for polished concrete is by placing a long piece of tape to cover the bottom of my stick, then do a regular full blade tape job. That extra layer of tape will prevent the wearing down on your blade. And I also do this every game. Still won't feel like ice but it's not bad, doesn't get in the way in my opinion.

    Hi Tony Hockey I’m a big fan! I was wondering if we were going to get more street hockey game videos soon?

      Hey man, thanks appreciate the support! Game footage will most likely be coming out in a month or so probably, dealing with a nagging injury

    Difference between size 1 and 2?

    • @TonyHockey

      Haven't tested it myself, but it looks to be the exact same, shouldn't be any different.

    p29 is the same as the p92 just in case anyone was wondering....

    • @TonyHockey

      Allllmost, between brands they are the closest thing to each other. But the 29 is slightly flatter and breaks more to the middle (less of a toe curve)
      Where as the 92 has slightly more rocker and slightly more toe.

      @@TonyHockey yeah there is SLIGHT differences but when fitting the p92 Bauer blade protector it fits perfectly on the p29!

      @@AllDayShorts247 ah yea in the context of the blade protector they fit the same!

    This was great, thanks for the video! Disappointed that there's no P88 option.

    • @TonyHockey

      Thank you appreciate it! Yea sad no P88, but it is a dying option in retail sticks in recent years.

    • @TonyHockey

      Hey man, just got a P88 CCM stick yesterday, tried the Bauer Protector on it and it's almost a clean fit! 95% I'd say. Seems like CCM curves in general are a little bit bigger than Bauers curves

      @@TonyHockey good to know, thanks for the update! I might pick one up if it's close enough to fitting.

    just curious, why wouldn't you want to tape your stick for better grip of the puck though? can't you tape it without taping the bottom to avoid friction?

    • @TonyHockey

      (I assume we're talking about the Sherwood and wraparound?) Because if we just tape the bottom by putting strips down the wraparound won't be secure enough. You need to have at least a couple weaves at the heel and toe to secure the wraparound.

    • @CompletelyInadequate

      won’t the tape ware out eventually on the bottom exposing the blade protector making it feel better while also having tape on your blade for better grip on the puck? I don’t know if that makes sense, you tape your stick on ice why wouldn’t you do the same outside?

    • @TonyHockey

      @@CompletelyInadequate yes true, but there is a good 20 mins I’d say to wear down the tape if you tape the whole thing, plus it’ll still never feel the same cause there will always be some tape on the edge or bottom of the side, and you would feel a little bit of the tape while stick handling. The tape on concrete is not smooth at all. Tape on ice is fine cause the ice is slippery. Or using an ABS blade will feel more similar to ice and there will almost be no friction at all as if you were on ice.
