Hi, wanted to ask if this can do the full CBS resets on the BMWs, resetting the pollen filter, oil filter, brake fluid, front and rear pads resets, etc. Cheers in advance.

I have a 👉E.S.C ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC). After removing my stealing wheel to repair the lock, 👉👉👉👉would this remove the code?💥. I have no clue why that popped up besides I forgot to unplug my battery and I unplug a cords attached to the steering wheel. Mercedes-benz wants $200 just to put a reader on it without repair. It's ridiculous. My car runs great, and no issues
I actuallly went and purchased both to give them both a try and i would say the 800 NO BT is better but the BT version you have to buy. the BT Version has lifetime updates but NON BT is one year, so will cost more in long run. 28 service operations vs 26, which when comparing them they are "EGR, AIR BAG AND an odometer symbol and NON BT doesn't have screen record. The BT function is a better as you have bigger range whilst walking around. But for me the NON BT version if it had lifetime updates would be the way to go. Bigger screen with buttons so easier to move around, better user ability and explains functions before using them. the stand behind it makes it easy to hook onto steering wheels so you can sit and work comfortable in the car (its a god send that). Alot of the lost functions of the NON BT i dont really use, but the paying for updates eventually is the killer as it will end up costing you technically for as long as you have it, which in the end you could of probably saved up for a top snapon dependant on update prices after years of owning it.

The non BT version is listed as 2 years update support but the BT version says free life time support. This is extremely stupid because the TopDon 600s version (which is only available in wired) also has free life time updates…

After 1 year, do you still recommend the 800BT? did you find yourself limited or annoyed/frustrated at times? i'm in the market to upgrade my basic obd2 Vgate scaner/reader. but can be overwhelming with all the terminology advertised by the manufactures, like bidirectionals that are not really bidirectionals, or clones.. Im leaning towards the Topdon800BT, Xtool D7. or a bit "lower" level : Thinkcar SR6 or S7plus, Topdon AD600, Ancel Fx3000. any thoughts?
@@iNinja. hey Pal, so yes I still have the 800BT and it is a very strong device. I fix cars on the side, so not a full time job but enough where I have a few.customers and a better OBD was needed compared to those cheap £10 ones. Out of 10 I would give it a 7. There has been a couple cars where resetting the service light it could not do due to failing the process, which sometimes is annoying as I consider that a basic function, but then things where I think it will fail on it actually worked, like bleeding abs systems and putting fords rear brakes into service mode. So I would rather it be able to handle more of the tougher jobs, as resetting the odd service light manually is alot more accessible to do compared to bleeding and abs unit. I would go with this as the updates have been very regular and I would have been well out of my 1 year updates on the NON BT version, so it's like it is paying for itself technically. If you use a website called Camel Camel Camel , it can track Amazon prices for you, as I would say you want to pay about £280 - £320 for this. I have seen it this low and it it's about fair for what you get. Depending if you can work it like I did, I was due to change my broadband, turned out Vodafone was the cheapest at the time and they had a £100 Amazon voucher if you joined, so I used this on top of my order and got my topdon for about £150 I believe.

Hi can you tell how much memory is left after the updates as model is 16gb and wonder how many updates before it's full that would be its lifetime updates?
@@evieemaya88 what I did was delete the cars I am never going to use Also if English is your language delete the language app When done I now have 7 gigs of memory If in the future you need one of the cars you deleted you can always re install it You never lose and of the cars.
@@evieemaya88 I have the blue tooth version This is how I did it 1- click set up 2- click Diagnostic Software Clear 3- Now check the boxes on the left that you want to delete 4- Click Delete After you have deleted the apps go back one step Click on file manager Scroll to the bottom and it will show you how much memory you now have Last Do a Happy Dance Again you never lose these apps and can always download them if you need them. Weeeeeeeee !

You'll need to spend more money if you want no directional and key coding for bmw/Mercedes etc

You are saying the Bluetooth version has free updates for life and the cable version is only free for one year, that totally makes no sense.

This scan tool is good for older car ,i think.

that's the problem of this device...no sdcard slot..
you can update individually the vehicles you want, basically update selectively and then if you get a car that day, just ugrapde as you go.
the only topdon user that doesn't use the touch screen....

Only update what you need
@@anguslean4058 yeah angus is right, downside of this is basically you cannot update everything and no sd slot, so update the vehicles you need
