If I didn't already have a DE-10 Triple Stack with an aluminum shell then I would definitely consider getting something like this. As much as I like the PS1 aesthetic of this thing, the small and compact form factor and appearance of my Triple Stack won me over pretty much instantly once I finally got it set up. I know I've mentioned before in previous videos of yours how a limit on physical space for my current living arrangements forces me to be pretty selective with what devices I keep with me at my home at any given time, and that certainly still holds true now. I don't think this PS1-like shell would actually take up a whole lot of space, but I still think the Triple Stack that I got now can't really be beat as far as compactness goes, and the aluminum shell its in acts as a giant heatsink for the motherboard so it has silent cooling to boot, which is a definite plus for me. If nothing else, I'd love to see this Taki clone console take off so I can see what the community could do with it further on down the road. Seeing actual support for CDs and the like would actually be pretty sick (although not as sick as YOU, am I right? 🤣), since it'd give people who still have physical PSX games that are still in working condition a means to play them again. As much as I've become used to the convenience of just booting up ROM files from a list of games in software emulators and now FPGA hardware over the years, I DO understand the appeal of inserting individual games into your consoles and booting them up since I grew up playing most of my games that way. In the end, even if this sort of functionality doesn't actuallt serve me much practical purpose these days, at least I can be happy that the option exists for those who DO want it. And honestly, I probably WOULD use something like that too, if I ever find my old PSX games and Analogue ends up coming out with a PSX FPGA clone of their own or something (I'd prefer to keep my MiSTer devices as all-in-one devices that have all my old retro games natively installed on them, while I use the Analogue and other FPGA clone consoles whenever I want to play specific consoles in more "authentic" ways with their own unique perks/feature sets seperate from what you may find on MiSTer, since I think Analogue's got a pretty good track record on emulating older consoles in hardware form/function so far outside of just their FPGA chips). All that being said, I'm still waiting eagerly for more details on the handheld Taki model. A clone DE-10 that I can take with me on the go, copy files to and from my original DE-10 AND be able to set it up on any TV/Monitor via HDMI whenever I want to play it on a bigger screen is something that I could actually use. As much as I (mostly) enjoy my Analogue Pocket, a portable DE-10 with a budget price is good enough of an upgrade in my book to justify switching over to it from the Pocket.

I'm very intrigued by disc support. I've been saying for a while now that I don't see why Sorg / MiSTer team couldn't create a way to read off a USB disc drive if the Linux subsystem is already handling the disc images/ISOs and presumably virtually mounting them for the cores to access.
So, will the SuperStation support simultaneous presses of the opposite directional buttons? This is needed to make RGB guitar controllers work on PlayStation GuitarFreaks mixes. Without such presses, these controllers won't work.
Hope you feel better soon, man! The SuperStationOne looks really cool. I hope they offer a forked version that can read original media the way the old console did.
