Even though it's a lot of luck, all VGT's have red screens for their default bonus prize. A bit more detail in to it, all VGT's are class 2 or bingo based games. When you get a red screen, you're actually getting two overlapping bingo patterns. That's what's causing your second spin on 3 reel or multiple extra spins if you're on 5 reel. In Oklahoma tribal gaming, VGT's are still pretty much a staple, I'm anxious to see ours and my VGT techs soon!

In Kentucky we have similar games because casinos aren’t legal. It takes away from the horse racing industry so they have slot machines and the wins are based on old horse races. Each spin a little horse runs across the top of the screen similar to the bingo vgt’s.
