Benny is pretty much an example of how hard it is being pregnant at a young age and working a lot. Every detail matters, even if it's inappropriate.
Benny is the example of being right from the inappropriate perspective. Even though as a guy I agree with it.

Benny is hilarious one of the funniest characters. I love how George always has a comeback roast for Benny.
Benny might look and act tough, but, under neath, she's sad and angry, because she had George at a very young age and had to work 2 jobs to raise him, in the process missing out on her teen years. So, she never learned how to cope with or deal with her anger.

A lot of Mexicans are extremely sarcastic to their family members. Whereas many people may see it as being rude but it’s more of endearment. We’re not as mean as Benny but the idea is there. Honestly, it’s the same format, just different sayings.
She had a mom and dad who were very cold and distant towards her, so she never grew up having actual positive reinforcement so when she had a kid she didn’t know how to be that loving caring mom that you would get. She did at least try to be a better parent at the very least
