C280 4Matic is actually 3.0 liter V6 engine, after it goes C320 which is this time actually 3.2 liter V6.

I have a c320 on coils and cerb IIs, it has 200k miles and I touge it every week. Ive kept up with a c5 vette, audi tt, and a whole load of other cars. It isnt anything special when it comes to hp but when those rpms get up there, they stay up.

C350 LUX , coming from a Gm cobalt ls, this car is a blast. And even though I didn’t get a perfect model (condition wise, hood star needs replacing and same as the rear door seal) it’s still pretty reliable car. Need to get the cats replaced soon tho. But if any ppl that are new looking for one, get one (especially the c350). Fun fact 😉 this car shares the same engine as the w204. Same engine, different body. Same hp figures

Also if anyone is wondering about my driving habits, I drive around 5 to 8 miles over on average. And I like fishtailing. Controls arms tho are not cheap tho (the labor adds in). And Mercedes with camshafts, w204s have more cam problems than the w203. But just make sure you get it inspected. Never can be too careful

I have a manual S203 (wagon) with the 5 cylinder. They are more common in Europe, i guess. Solid car, definitely on the ugly side 😂

    There's a 3.2 in the C320, that's an older engine. There's a 3.5 in the C350 from 2005 to 2007. I have the 3.2.

These cars really now how to slide haha, I’ve got a c320. In the rain/snow, it’s effortless putting it sideways.

@@TK-cb7wwhow reliable is it? i got a 2006 c280 3 months ago and it's giving me a p0170 code about the vacumm leaks and can't find where the problem is coming from.

@FjoreloFero I've had mine forever with 121k miles on it - having lived in The Bronx back in the day. The car got hit by drunk drivers twice while parked and survived both hits, one of which being pretty nasty rear quarter up againt tire still drove. I fixed both times. I'm certain a Honda or something would have completely crumpled and totaled from the first hit. They were both hit n runs.
Then the only code I ever got for the car was from the thermostat, which I thought went bad. I took my scanner out and cleared It. Never got the message again and never have had the car overheat.
Like any German car, just keep up the maintenance and make sure it was in good hands because people tend to abuse these cars. However, I see many c280s from the early and mid 2000s still on the road today. And mine still runs fine. I don't abuse it like I used to when I was a younger driver as I brought the car up to its limiter before, but nowadays I drive far more casually with it, and it performs just as well. With the tires I have on it now Iit's also a lot more stable on the road. However, if you want, you can definitely kick the tail out.
Sorry for the long winded comment? I would just like to say it always is a German car. So when the problems do come up, there is a chance they may be difficult to fix and/or expensive.
All I've done in the last 25000 miles is brakes,Oil changes, new tires, rotations, and a transmission fluid change, which had never been done before. But other than that, nothing in the car works fine. And is still a fun drive, I'll tell you though in todays world the cars 3L v6 really doesnt push the car fast in acceleration as I've timed 0-60 at best in the faux manual mode at about 6.7s
