    I’ve never seen a son take over any business or company and just pick up where dad left off as well as this guy. Dale Earnhardt Jr. dose a good job also but this guy is #1

    I LOVE the peashooter tanks with the rocker cut outs added! Too many custom touches to count. This bike is a "sit on the ground beside it and study it for 3 hours" kind of bike! Too cool.

      @@tedecker3792 was this bike expensive to buy in 1928?

    • @tedecker3792
      @tedecker3792 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Andrew Elliott hard to say, there was huge disparity in wages just before the depression. If you were a farm laborer for instance, the bike would be above your means, but if you had a more white collar job, it would have been easily affordable. Hard to make a call on your question, times were much different then. And I’m certainly no expert. My parents were both in college in the early 30s, my mom worked 3 jobs and sent money home to help her parents. At the same time my dad was driving a new 32 Ford roadster.

    • @clintwoodruff1187

      Marco, maybe you should look for new friends. There are thousands of Harley guys out here doing all this same stuff today to our modern bikes.
      How about those 131 ci motors, right from the factory. And S&S 143 ci motors, and Ultima 140 ci motors ?! Then Baker 6 speed transmissions on the market for years now. Hot rod clutches available from several manufacturers. And high performance disc brake set ups in several configurations are available. Crazy 'upside down ' fork legs, and a host of rear suspensions for people to choose from. Electronic ignition systems up the gazoo, and fuel injection, or multi carburetors available of every design imaginable ! Harley riders today have more performance items available to choose from than ever ! And more info about all that than ever due to the internet.
      So Marco, get out there and build ' YOUR DREAM BIKE' ! Maybe 100 years from now, some young fella's will be drooling all over what 'you did', way back when !
      Someday I'm sure, it will be said that "THIS was the 'GOLDEN AGE' of Harleys" ! Because right now is when thers is more available to Harley enthusiasts than ever before in history !
      Hey, so let's not waste it, thinking about the past !
      JUST GO FOR IT NOW !
      RUBBER DOWN,
      THROTTLE UP !
