Could Iask, Why is the D.M.U. in those colours, as opposed to the B.R. Green with whiskers, ?
IT IS MADE UP. IT USED TO BELONG TO ANOTHER HERITAGE RAILWAY. ON BOARD THE D.M.U. IS A POSTER ASKING FOR DONATIONS TO GET IT RE PAINTED
It used to be owned by telford steam railway however when peak rail bought it they never changed it.

I rarely collected DMU numbers when I was a train spotting nipper in the mid to late 1960's, too numerous, too boring.
They were just ... " There".... Hundreds of them , then one day they weren't pacers had taken over
I know I kind of thought they'd go on forever.
