Full Short Track Race: Bowman Gray Stadium - Stadium Stock Twin 15’s (8/17/24)

With the #BowmanGrayStadium season coming to its closing 2 weeks 8/17/24 saw the Stadium Stock drivers fight for every point they could grab as the Group A drivers put on a show in the first 15 lapper! Group B drivers put on a show as well trying to reach the #BGS victory lane in 2024!
Race 1 Summary: Race 1 saw #18 Billy Andrews and #51 Andrew Cates lead the field to green. All was well with hard racing all around the track till Lap 9. That is when #44 Blaze Sanders would go around in turn 4. On Lap 10 another Sanders would bring out the caution as #2 Carson Reed would send #11 Sydney Sanders around also collecting #27 Austin Cates. In the end Race 1 would be the Keaton show as #5 Connor Keaton and #1 Grayson Keaton would finish 1st and 2nd!
Race 2 Summary: Race 2 saw stadium veterans #26 Ricky Wall and #33 DJ Dean lead the field to green. The 26 of Wall would take the lead and hold there for most of the race. Lap 4 would see the first caution as #19 Isaiah Dean would come to a stop in turn 1. The race would remain green till the last lap when chaos would ensue as #32 William Smith would spin in turn 4 causing the rear of the field to slow in front of the leaders! This would send 2nd place #33 DJ Dean into the back of #88 Isaac Wright ending both of there nights. This would set up a 1 Lap shoot out between race leader #26 Ricky Wall and hard charging #20 Patrick Mullen. Mullen would end up leading the only lap that mattered… the last one to capture his first BGS win of 2024!
