    Good conversation.

Wish I heard the entirety of this exchange. Seems like it cut off when he talked about convincing his friend to try something else before trying to be trans. I'm interested....

If we care about the impression being left on 3 trans kids because of how they were introduced to gender by their parent, then I think we must then be concerned for every cis child and how they were introduced to gender by their parent. I think we can still recognize and affirm how those children identify at the moment while still examining that, tho. Also, let's examine how almost every child in recent years has been introduced to gender at an impressionable age by society at large. How many literally lie about there only being two sets of chromosomes in classrooms when we know there are more than that then we tell many kids that sex is gender lol, but that's just how I feel. To me, the answer lies in examining... Why there is a higher likelihood for people to be what a large swath of the population considers straight and cis. Feminine and masculine and androgynous. Like, I feel like there's a layer of depth this conversation is missing, like it was missing a component.
That's why I kinda like the "you know your self best" approach when it comes to gender, depending on who you are and what life you've lived what someone else considers masculine can be feminine for you individually, or maybe you don't identify with those concepts at all, in general as you develop your sense of self you get to define what being the gender you are is to you, and you can still respect how others define their own gender or lack of gender and/or how their gender changes overtime
