I live for Twin Peaks, Willd at Heart, Fire Walk with Me.............I'm so sad. I hope he has something hidden for us. I love you David you give me Life
@@akiraperu1 it is not rocket science, you sit, in a quiet environment, repeat a mantra (for example "Shiring" in your head for 10 to 30 mins once or twice per day and VOILÀ
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi commented, "When life leaves the body, it is the breath leaving, like transcending. For one who has been accustomed to this experience for many years, the transition is easy, painless, and blissful, not catastrophic. Dropping the body is like letting a bird out of its cage.”
He's the guy who got me meditating, gave me a life of joy. There's some sadness one of my gurus has moved on and we'll never get another weather report (blue skies & golden sunshine all along the way!) but it's awesome to see this outpouring of love from so many many people. Couldn't ask to do any better in this life.
I practice TM and have had countless benifits... from conquering addiction, managing my anger , stress and insomnia....it has made me a better person mother and family support provider for families who need support and aid after overcoming addiction and trauma....nothing but good has came from practicing TM n9w some of the people who also practice it can be evil as can any person..... as I tell my children there are good Dr's bad Dr's, good cops , bad cops good people and bad people they can have the same skills and knowledge but use them for negative or selfish things just depends on the person what the result will be....
The truth is that we ALL need it. You are smart enough to realize it. 100% best thing that ever happened to me. A life saver. Make you sure you learn from a certified TM teacher.
I always love him but still cant understand how a man can be so dedicated to such calming and peaceful things as meditation but still be addicted to one of the most anxiety inducing things.
Blue velvet is one of my favorite movies. If it's so peaceful why do you need so much peer pressure. I don't think that the negative things leave, rather, I think you're turning a deliberate 'blind eye' to them. You begin to turn a blind eye to a lot of the world and I don't believe that is healthy.
The problem with TM is that you have to pay a whole lot of money to get "the mantra". Why do people have to pay "teacher" to get a mantra? It's like going to church and paying to hear the "word of god". If meditating makes you such a good person, give the mantras for free.
Exactly. I'm all for meditation and its benefits, and I think David Lynch was a true artist and wonderful human being, but paying thousands of dollars for a TM mantra always seemed a little suspect. I did a deep dive researching TM at one point because of David Lynch and got the impression that it is the Scientology of meditation.
Huh? As a veteran who has seen thousands of lives saved by TM, the cost of it is minimal. You pay more for a new couch or a TV! And TM is a lifetime program of benefits! For TM teachers to be available there needs to be a course fee. How else would it work? It is like saying doctors and nurses are good for us, so they should work for free!?! It does not make sense.
@@HOUSEOFHER0 You should rethink. The logic is missing.
Can you post videos from your archives, without someone having to die first? You have thousands of videos of stories, yet you only ever post them when someone kicks the bucket.
I remember this interview by Mo Rocca and wishing I could find a copy of David's black and white meditation chart. Anybody know if it's available? Such a sad day. I had hoped we could have had him until his 80s. Magic, once in a lifetime human being. 💔🐵💔🐵💔🐵💔🐵💔
Life, love, sex and death are but a few of the things we avoid teaching our youth about. I sure could have done better learning about the narcissist type humans I may encounter than knowing Washington crossed the Delaware. Math will not teach a child how to cope with the death of a loved one.
I've never cared much for lynch's films I just don't like them I also don't care much for his Going on and on about transcendental meditation40 some years some years He meditated yet he wasn't able to transcend Himself himself And the material world of form the waking dream Any smoked and smoked unsmoked I just it's hard to see somebody that meditates and then they light up and smoke all day long And they literally smokes himself to death So Served no purpose It didn't rise his consciousness or his self awareness Where he could stop his self destructive behavior Really weird I'm sorry that he Died like he did he was an addict I've been 40 years clean and sober off cigarettes He was never able To look at it Is Like I did Like I did and many other people that I know in recovery and it killed him Which addictions always will
I can tell from your run on paragraph about how unfulfilling you think a man's life was after he just died that you are incredibly enlightened and have a very, reasonable, rational and measured outlook on things. You're a very wise teacher, not David Lynch. I'll watch your movie when it out comes out for sure!
We're all flawed human beings, as you are I'm sure. For example, your writing skills are not very good. Thing is, Lynch would not say any negative thing to you if you had met him. You, however, lean in on the negative. Having a negative mindset leads to an unhappy life. He was beloved by millions. Not many can say that in a lifetime.
Yoga and meditation opens you up to demons. If you want true peace then you need The Holy Spirit which you receive when you accept Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for your sins and repent. You must be born again (John 3:3)
Oh brother. Another christian that claims they know everything about the human brain, when in fact you know little to nothing. Read a science book once in your life.
These people are some of the best people to sell to because they will buy anything😂. They're all channels dedicated to Justice nonsense. It's a gold mine
Not like you, youtube commenter. Nobody's gonna steal your hard earned dollar from ya! You've got an iron clad mind that doesn't watch whatever an algorithm beams in front of you! Everyone else is gullible and foolish, gettin' plaaayed like a fiddle but you're above it all just lookin' down and laughin' at everything you can see on the internet.
Lynch might have had some skill as a film artist but the themes of most of his movies and TV shows were twisted and perverted, in my opinion. I mean do you all think that "Blue Velvet" and "Wild at Heart" came from a normal mind? People liked him because he draped his warped mind in pretty images. I think of the Dennis Hopper character in "Velvet" and the Willem Dafoe character in "Heart" and I think of what kind of mind created them. Both those characters were cruel and sadistic -- and sexually perverted in particular. Lynch came along at a time when Hollywood would let you do anything you wanted as long as it looked "artistic." His movies were pretty, yes, but his characters were very disturbing!!!!
I’m heart broken on David’s passing, but not sobbing my eyes out or feeling sadness. I feel happy that this man entered my life. Thank you!
As DAVID LYNCH said himself, "You have a very good heart."

If the World meditated we'd see world Peace. If Children meditated we're guaranteed eternal Peace.
Not true! A lot of evil ppl meditate.
Those kids are so cool!

As a veteran, David Lynch inspired millions of us to learn TM... and it saved so many lives. TM is the best thing that ever happened to me -- easily.
I’m glad you found TM and that it saved lives. I always respected that about David Lynch, his generosity and compassion for those who deserve it.
