I did exactly what I did in those videos, However the last missing package I cannot find in #63 in the PS4 version I played is missing. Even when I get all 99 packages, the last one I cannot find I have a hard time.
Side Note: If you're new to GTA 3, collect packages before doing any story missions on each island. After certain missions, some packages become annoyingly difficult.

I feel I'm the only one who genuinely enjoys package hunting. Gives the games more of an adventurous vibe, plus you see places you ordinarily wouldn't see. Like in GTA IV, there's several of these places, like the skate park under the Broker Bridge. And don't get me started on how they outdone themselves with RDR2. I like hunting for things, but hunting itself and some of the collectibles missions are my least favorite parts.
It really helps you get around and I always thought in the original Verison before we had the map it helps you learn the city but now it makes you learn notable spots
Yeah, I remember reading a list with the description of the location of each package. Some were really hard to find back in the days. Nowadays you just open TH-cam on your second monitor and it's easy.
For package 31 you don’t need to use a Triad van. Just take a regular car, go behind the factory, you’ll notice that the grass can be used like a ramp, just go full speed and you’re inside the factory.
Some advice: Try to get packages near Harwood and the areas between Callahan Bridge and the Red Light District before the Triads and Leones are shooting at you. It's infuriating trying to collect packages while they're trying to kill you.
The iffy thing about these Hidden Packagaes is you won't be able too get the one on the raising bridge from Stauton Island too Shoreside Vale and the train stations until you unlock them. So, if any of y'll are missing any packagaes, that would be the ones too mark down for later
you can get the portland one early without unlocking it with the tunnel glitch only one im missing is shaunton bridge because i cant fly a dodo to save save my damn life
@@MatthewTheSkunk travel to stauntan island at the start from calahan bridge debris or car glitch near tunnel and then drive to the subway in stauntant island, from there take your car and bash inside the subway and take it to portland subway and then collect it
I got the one on the raising bridge at Staunton before unlocking any of the islands, I did the tunnel glitch the other guy was talking about all the way to Shoreside, grabbed a Dodo from that airport, and it was trial and error getting to the lifted part of the bridge to get the package.
Number 19 does not require any mission progression at all, just get to Staunton Island early through multiple methods, then drive to the subway entrance and down into the subway with a car, then drive to that package location.

10:19, The 19th hidden package can be collected before Last Requests. Look up a glitch to get to Staunton or Shoreside Vale early and drive a car through the subway to get to the Portland subway stop and get out and get the hidden package.

@@SunshineSuperstar Thanks! I did my GTA 3 playthrough in a very weird way where I did ALL of the side activates on ALL 3 islands with the glitch before even doing the 2nd mission and that's how I found this one out.
Thanks! Replaying this for the first time since the PS2, was near the end of the 2nd island not using a guide and was stuck on 37 packages, so decided it was time to get help. Had missed about 7 on the first section and there is a couple I am convinced I wouldn't have gotten originally. 👍
Thanks, helped a lot! Also tips for people doing this: the other commenter is right that you should collect packages earlier on to avoid all the people shooting at you. I began when I was already a decent ways through the storyline and it made the Portland packages waaaay more annoying. Also setting the video speed to 0.5 and then driving with the video next to game made it a lot easier for me to follow without needing to rewind so much

It's a shame these remasters were half-done and buggy, and not excellent as other companies do, or even a remake. I'm glad the hidden packages are still in this version.
He was removed because he didn't mesh well with the other characters, like when we had to attract a lot of people using an ice cream truck and them blow them all to pieces. Darkel is still in the game however, specifically for killing gang members using a particular weapon during Rampages.
I love how you put them all on one side of the island from the bridge when you did Staunton excellent work my friend excellent makes it very easy because then you also had part of the video of where you were from and then you go from that area genius
@@Alansworstnight In Portland, Toni’s safehouse was demolished and he moved back to his Ma’s place. His other safehouses in Staunton Island and Shortside Vale are still intact. It is likely he still owns the places.
You can use the underground tunnel to get to Staunton early then use the subway to get to shore side early. You can get all but one (unless you're reallllllly good at flying the dodo) before you do the first mission.
I am trying to get the platinum trophy, so I started a new game, and tried to get everything as soon as I got free roam. I’ve already done the 12 ambulance missions, 100 taxi fares, 20 fire fighter in vigilante missions etc. basically everything on the first island. The thing is I was collecting packages and package 19 is impossible to get early game. 😞
15:22 this package is never there in my game no matter how many times you restart the game/ reload. I haven't collected it yet but it's just never there. If i start a new game it's there but not in my savegame and i have already played a lot of missions but you need to collect it for 100% completion but now i can't because it never spawns. I'm now forced to start a new game because of this bug.

Yeah this is what I hate about gta 3, game becomes a chore to play after finishing the final mission. Mob starts to carry shotguns and becomes very aggressive, cartel gang up on you with their Ak-47, small gangs becomr aggressive as hell. I mean logically they should lose their strenght after losing their leader but instead they thrive.
Rockstar could of fixed this issue by either having all the gangs hostility removed after completing all the story missions. Or have them only attack when you’re on foot. Just driving past the gang members and being shot at is very annoying.

Yeah since alot of the gangs become very hostile especially the Mob since they all carry freaken shotguns which are super OP

You are not alone i love hidden packages too. Thats why my favorite role collector in RDO.
Collectibles are even better with unique rewards
My lord collecting items scattered across the map is a pain, especially when 100 percenting RDR2
And plus it's a good way to remember the map like the back of your hand

The ps2 versions have less bugs and more attention to detail(sounds of seaguls and stuff at the docks + much more), but the resolution is much lower.

Better collect the packages and do the Side missions before you finish the story (before the whole map just hates you).
Yeah this is what I hate about gta 3, game becomes a chore to play after finishing the final mission. Mob starts to carry shotguns and becomes very aggressive, cartel gang up on you with their Ak-47, small gangs becomr aggressive as hell. I mean logically they should lose their strenght after losing their leader but instead they thrive.
Rockstar could of fixed this issue by either having all the gangs hostility removed after completing all the story missions. Or have them only attack when you’re on foot. Just driving past the gang members and being shot at is very annoying.
You might as well do vice city and San Andreas to 😅🤷♂️

Nah, all packages can be collected just after first mission, except one, which is on the level of lifted Shoreside Bridge.
How are you supposed to collect the package in Southern Island and Shortside vale island because that are locked in the beginning?
