I never post the ebay seller otherwise it ruins the integrity of the the box. I try to give good examples of what to look for in listings (good reviews, strong reputation, and tied to a local store)

See this is what a honest mystery box should be. People buy sealed products at msrp and then sell the appreciated goods thru mystery boxes. That was a good deal honestly id buy that any day.
unless the mystery box is woefully below stated value, it's kind of a scumbag move to return it. it's expected to be slightly below what someone pays for it

Nice mystery box. I just purchase a box of over 700 pokemon cards I hope I find something great. The listing states common and uncommon cards. I only paid $19.95 it was hard for me to pass up the opportunity.

I know you said you don't recommend this seller but a video on a list of mystery box retailers would be not just interesting but reassuring. I do see something like that being risky for obvious reasons but even something like knowing what exactly you look for that makes you think a mystery box could be trustworthy. I live in a very small town the closets card shop is 40 minutes away walmart gets boring 😂

Just because it's a mystery box doesn't mean they can literally put anything into it and call it a day. If you feel the product doesn't meet the expectation and description, then yes you should contact the seller

Quite a bit above average. I feel like you got a good one because you knew what to look for in order to have a decent experience, but we can't expect all pokémon collectors to be knowledgeable, my advice would still be avoid everything no matter what if it has "mystery" in the title xV

That Charizard pull was definitely out of nowhere! Congrats! You know that you've purchased from an honest seller when loose packs haven't been weighed. I was actually lucky enough to pull it twice along with the bubble Mew! I just need 2 more cards and I'll be officially done with PF!
