HSC voicepacks is a GREAT fucking innovative product that I've ever seen during my three decades of gaming. Absolutely fantastic help and creates so much immersion it's outstanding. The way it works using current technologies is ingenious. 3rd party product that adds value to a game that makes it worth three times the full price IMO. Just bought my second AI for the ship, so much with so little money. Childhood fantasy relived !
Love my ED voice packs! They come in SOOO handy! I would be interested in seeing the how the Star Citizen voice packs work since I'm interested in getting into Star Citizen.
We will be doing some of those videos soon - We need some players to teach Paul how to do stuff in-game, and possibly a guru that can take the footage, and help him produce the demos - He is keen to get it done, but a lack of resources with a tight release schedule is leaving us all with a little more than we would like to be trying to accomplish before we close out the year - But these videos for Star Citizen will come. There are a few videos over on Noobifier's channel though, so you might want to check those out. Mzia Cruz.
I reeeaaallly enjoy using the HCS voice packs. Excellent job with what you guys have done. Question... does this "glitch" mean that we are not able to effectively use any of the keyboard/mouse selections while in a panel that we have opened with voice commands?
You can use your keys. So if you open Navogation tab, scroll up and down, select etc, fine - If you then scroll over to contacts, then exit, it's out of sync. Put it back to the left manually and "reset profiles". It doesn't get noticed as broken often because ot resets every time you jump and a few other in game events reset it too. Just remember we can't track key presses - We can track voice cammands.
The one thing I cant figure out is almost everything works except it won't do the final click in the menus, when I asked for request docking it goes into contacts and it will say requesting docking but it doesn't actually do it, same thing when I say take me to engineers or galactic powers. It will go to the tab but not actually go into it. I'm not sure how to fix that. Eden is fantastic other than that!
Are you sure it's entirely impossible to track which buttons you press using VoiceAttack? Sure, tracking the mouse movement or head movement is a different beast, but could you not have a command that responds to "1" being pressed and saves "in navigation panel" as the current state, making subsequent voice commands react appropriately? As far as I understand, the option "Do not allow key to be passed through" would allow just that. If that indeed works, it's obviously much easier to implement using some graph programming in a plugin, but in theory, it's definitely possible. With a defined extensive graph containing all the key presses necessary to jump between UI elements, you could even instantly jump to a tab on an entirely different panel using just one command. If you let that plugin parse a user's key binds config on the local computer, which is in %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings\Custom.3.0.binds, you could make it respond independently of key bind configuration, too.
We'd love to have a better solution - And we would also like to hear any suggestions with this - Can you join our Discord channel and pop this suggestion there to the team? They'd like to hear this, and indeed maybe see if it is an option...
@@carstenhansen5757 No, you can choose your own voice triggers in our voice trigger editor. There's 10 years work in the product with 200k users - We've catered for all of what you're suggesting, and implemented pretty much everything possible.
Great tutorial and clear explanation. Keep the good work!

can you target with this??
Yes. At the top of our website look at the posters link and check out the quick reference command poster.
There's a shocking lack of polish to so much in ED. It's so disappointing for a game with so much potential.
This is pretty useless. I want help to deploy flares, while I'm in combat.
Then just say "launch countermeasures' - Our packs do that.
@@hcsvoicepacks How about just "launch flares", or just "flares", or do you really have to say that many syllables mid combat?
