Thanks for posting these. I had never heard of this brilliant show till now. It is hilarious. Binge watching it during COVID lockdown. Will watch every episode.
Emily, it's the handyman & handywoman most secret weapon. Afterall Duct Tape is like the force it has a light and dark side and binds everything together.
...wow. Just wow. Bill can be clearly heard saying “Hi Red” “Hi Everybody “ “Red get out of the way” and “hey look at that” the first true words we have heard him say in the entire run, other that “hey!” from last season. He’s heard saying other things in this segment but aren’t distinguishable...
The soda drinking reminds me of the time I had to eat and drink very quickly before returning to work: 1 candy bar and a 12 ounce root beer, one minute. I do not recommend it, but we all did at least one stupid thing as teenagers. Thankfully I, shall we say, decompressed prior to being around any customers.
Anybody else notice that they have a gas bill or Red pulls gas lines out of the shed but in an earlier ep they told the city guy building on bluff point that nobody in the area had gas that they burn wood.
I think the best joke was the back off sign on the car with the jacket covering b and a. There is now a local guy’s car with back off on it to soon lose the letters b and a
@2:10 Hello Mandella effect. Ed McMahon we are now told never had anything to do with Publishers clearing house and never sent letters or came to your door with an oversized check. However there is so much residue left over from this one and here is another example I forgot about. Funny how the writers of this show would reference letters from Ed McMahon as a joke if all of that was just our faulty memory and in our heads.
Close though it was American Family Publisher's. Similar companies, probably rivals. Publisher's Clearing House had no celebrity spokesperson but they were the ones who appeared at the door with the flowers and oversized check.
@@julieporter7805 no that just doesn't fly. Too many people remember Ed McMahon coming to your door with a check and there's even an episode of the Johnny Carson show that mocks this as well as countless other examples. We'd have to believe that every person remembered this incorrectly AND no fact checkers at the time got it right which is impossible. And Dolly *did* have braces btw...
4:34 Harold Green: Mike no running in the halls Mike Hammer: Hmm Harold Green: 90 seconds detention for you You should know better Mike when will you learn your parents will hear this one Whistle
14:25 just listening to bill's belch makes me feel relief from bloating . i'll have to try that with lets say chugging a 2 liter of cola ... no better yet more Co2 in root beer !

Keep your stick on the ice - hmmm ? don't give up , stay focused , " Don't over-think it; just keep your stick on the ice and things will work themselves out." be positive , etcetera . Since im a yank , and most of the drunken idiots in this "rust belt" mid sized city seem to just go to the minor league hockey games to watch fights and don't seem to appreciate the skill and beauty of hockey , so im also figuring it also may mean don't beat up your opponents faces, necks, any unprotected body parts on your opponent with your hockey sticks ; analogous to play fair and at your best ? maybe ? sort of ?
Dolby still sucks . Its like a mute button . cuts out the higher pitches . i'll take the hiss and hf noise , just give me back to top end of John Gary's falsettos .
This show is addictive 😍
Yes it is like a gift from Canada these guys are
10:17 This guy called it way back in 98. Vinyl came back into style. After Cassette tapes, CDs, MP3s and Spotify, Vinyl made a come back.
Thanks Red.
Thanks for posting these. I had never heard of this brilliant show till now. It is hilarious. Binge watching it during COVID lockdown. Will watch every episode.

Jack O F F i feel old as fuck
I used to watch this on TV years ago. Loved it, and still do!!!
This is still one of my favorite shows
Still do in 2020 hha
has to be the funniest show ever....GOOD CLEAN FUN WITH GREAT CHARACTERS THROPUGHOUT ITS SERIES.
Love this Show I wish it would come back
This man-made over 300 episodes of this showhe is in his seventies now I think he made enough shows to satisfy everybody let him retire
"Women can accept what they are, men have to prove it" . - Red Green.
I use to watch this all the time
Love this Show
Love him! Reminds me of the men of the north of my youth.
2024 and this show is still so hilarious!! Red Green (Steve Smith) is a national treasure and the funniest man alive!!!
We are going to be rolling in it!
Yeah, I just wish it was cash.
I actually rolled off my bed laughing after that one.
love the adventures with bill on this one
Mike Hammer is my HERO !!!!!!!
I like that you use duck tape for everything.
+Emily Thoen duct*
+Emily Thoen Have you seen this show before?
Emily, it's the handyman & handywoman most secret weapon. Afterall Duct Tape is like the force it has a light and dark side and binds everything together.
Steve Smith wrote the lobby scenes for this episode, with Bob Bainborough doing rewrites, curiously enough.
This show is the late night of my odd childhood.
I don't know why I like this so much it makes me laugh
I flipping love this show!!
You got a bunch of grass to get two years plus a day 🤣🤣🤘🏼
i love the memebers of the possum louge
Classic
its almost at 4:20 too xD 🤘🤘
...wow. Just wow. Bill can be clearly heard saying “Hi Red” “Hi Everybody “ “Red get out of the way” and “hey look at that” the first true words we have heard him say in the entire run, other that “hey!” from last season. He’s heard saying other things in this segment but aren’t distinguishable...
During the 1998 season (Season 8), faint vocals from Bill (Rick Green) were added to the segments.
i don't want to even think about how that crank makes the possum squeal .
Love the word game...
Harold always introduces Red’s companion as his “favorite friend in the whole wide room”.
Thomas Ryan it changed to that the previous season after an awkward series of intros
Thats the only time ive seen that Red lost the word game!
11:33 ... Make sure to knock on Harold's bedroom door first before entering if he's watching Xena: Warrior Princess...
"There is a 2 hour Xena warrior princess coming on" Ohhh yeah
The soda drinking reminds me of the time I had to eat and drink very quickly before returning to work: 1 candy bar and a 12 ounce root beer, one minute. I do not recommend it, but we all did at least one stupid thing as teenagers. Thankfully I, shall we say, decompressed prior to being around any customers.
HAHAHA! This show was so funny when I was little.
It still is funny!
Regarding the word game I think it's the handful of episodes where the guy doesn't get it
Good thing, they lost the prize.
Hey mike would be proud to kno, Pot is legal!!!!! Ya man we even got lots a stores
I love his band Cake
Wow I've never saw them actually run out if time on the word game haha
cool sound from bill!
this guy is fricking hilarious!
"Alright, that's got her. I hope that was a balloon" XD
this the only time (that I know of) they didn`t guess the word in the Possum Lodge Word Game
It only happens a handful of times throughout the entire series, but the reasons why are always funny.
It happens frequently but it stands out as the others ended due to laughing too hard at the responses or timing issues
well if memory serves , there's a couple shows when the word game went bust
i could swear acid freak / pontoon airplane pilot Buzz Sherwood couldn't finish one
And vinyl is back. Red or a smart man. Well. Not smart. But definitely not dumb
This was the last Word Game that the word wasn't guessed. Mike was so close though.
Anybody else notice that they have a gas bill or Red pulls gas lines out of the shed but in an earlier ep they told the city guy building on bluff point that nobody in the area had gas that they burn wood.
They likely have a 500 gallon propane tank for the stoves and such. just no furnace for central heating they burn wood for that.
Brendan J exactly that, they have a big kitchen as seen in season 2
I just noticed Red has really long fingers!! Sheesh!!!
Denise Allison Stout guess that’s the secret to why Bernice really likes him ;)
mike's up here trying to live down his criminal past, but everybody keeps bringing it up. best joke of the episode
I think the best joke was the back off sign on the car with the jacket covering b and a. There is now a local guy’s car with back off on it to soon lose the letters b and a
Steve-o !
Wish I could watch you and your son on twitch.
Oh. My. God.
+Ashley Boudreau My exact reaction.
Bills belching: If your sick go to the Hospital.
Don’t worry Red, they eventually remove the Pound Sign and change it to the hashtag
13:21 Bill talks! He almost never talks!

Xena reference!!!!!!!!!
Something tells me Bill never passed the RCMP mandated FIrearms Safety Course. Just a hunch.
14:25 just listening to bill's belch makes me feel relief from bloating . i'll have to try that with lets say chugging a 2 liter of cola ... no better yet more Co2 in root beer !
a Ford on fire😂😂😂
BEST FUCKING SHOW EVER
How did Bill fire so many shots with a double-barreled shotgun
Elmer Fudd taught him to shoot..
I’ve never seen someone lose the word game!! Mike Hammer never got the answer.
That's not true, there were other times when other lodge members lost the game. In one episode, Dougie lost the game because he no idea that Canada was a country.
I like the one where Hap walks out because he thinks the government is after him. Lol!
There’s been other times where they ran out of time as the segment went long, like Bob Stuyvesant’s only appearance on the game
RIP Wayne Robson
Isn't that the wooden statue of Red from "The Statue"?
"back off" lol
At 14:58, it's funny how Bill burps.
He's Bill. That's all.
Jared Fogle was on Canadian television??
+rollinstormz patrick mckenna
What is the device Harold is holding?
nope ranger gord did I just don't remember which one

High sticking is a penalty. He's saying play by the rules. Don't overthink it too far.
