    Fun fact since that video of the Raven dropping the nut into traffic didn't tell the whole story: yes, the bird did that on purpose so that the car would do the work of cracking the nut open, and normally they do this at stoplight intersections. They do this because they are smart enough to know that if they drop it into a crosswalk and then wait for the light to turn red, they will be able to safely get the xp

    Fun fact: Did you know crows can remember faces? If you piss off a crow, it'll remember what you look like and let its flock know about you so they can avoid you.
    And if they like you, it'll tell its flock to trust you and they'll sometimes give you shiny things
    Another fun fact: Parrots can live to 90 years

    • @maozedong8370
      @maozedong8370 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ostriches should NEVER have been placed that low. They have immensely powerful kicks, an un paralleled level of stamina and great speed. And they can maintain speeds of between 30-38km for over half an hour. That is beyond impressive. They should have been at least low C tier.

      @@davidc. Everything CAN eat them, but technically, anything can eat anything humans included. If you throw a human with no supplies out on to the savannah, you'll understand why they drop to C tier. Ostriches do get caught by cheetahs, but that is because the ostrich is a bad match up for them being fast, but not faster than the cheetah and having little defense that cheetahs can break through. If ostriches do try to fight back though, they could knock out or even potentially kill with a single kick. They are nowhere near as unfortunate as tierzoo was trying to paint them.

    • @Ryodraco
      @Ryodraco 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@maozedong8370 Moreover ostriches are large flightless birds that have managed to compete and thrive in the same habitats on a continent overall ruled by large mammals. No other ratite can claim such a feat. The closest would be the rheas but they still face less competition and fewer predators than the ostrich.

    Ostriches don't put their head in the ground trying to hide, they do this because their nests are usually underground and they're rotating the eggs so one side doesn't get too much heat. Ostriches are stupid, but holy crap, they're not THAT stupid.

      Also, the reason Vultures aren't higher than C tier, is because they're basically nature's janitor. They pick up after everybody else. They don't KILL anything.

  • @F1rstWorldNomaD
    @F1rstWorldNomaD 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Intelligence is the most overpowered stat by a pretty large margin.
    Any class speccing in high intelligence will always be high on the list.
    Add a few decent abilities and a little bit of HP/Agility and you have a S-Tier build.
    This is literally why Humans are by far the most successful class.
    Remember that these lists are ranking everything.
    No just PVP.
    Its not that Vultures arent dangerous, if YOU alone were to run into a vulture, you should be vigilant.
    But Vultures as a species vs humans as a species is not even a contest.
    If there was an actual all out war between us, I doubt the Vulture would even get a single kill.
    The same thing but on a smaller scale applies to things like Parrots.
    Its not that a parrot would body a vulture.
    Its that, as a species it has a way greater chance of survival.
    The surrounding world is way less of a threat to the species survival.

    Pelicans are wild.
    1) When I was about 7 or 8 we were at a local zoo, where you can access the enclosure and actually engage with them. One of them tried to eat my 5yo brother. It literally had most of his head in its beak. It was the most hillarious thing I've ever seen.
    2) On a vacation to Florida, we were fishing off a pier and a pelican flew straight through my fishing line from beneath it. Got the hook caught in its wing and I had to cut the line without being able to remove the hook. Pelican didn't give a damn.

    Its similar in nature to this channel but its not in tier lists and it covers literally ANYTHING.
    There are videos on how quicksand works to stories about political assassinations to worm holes.
    Literally anything you can think of and I bet Thoughty2 has made a video on it and its done in a masterful way with a host thats so disgustingly charmingly british that you could listen to him read the phonebook for 2 hours and not get bored.

      @tokagerkun 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Vultures are scavengers, so they find already dead animals and eat them. Seeing as these dead animals are often way too big to pick up and fly away, they need to stay on the ground and defend themselves and their food. This means that they need to compete with lions, hyenas and other large predators, which would all destroy vultures in a fight. Other birds don't need to put themselves in those dangerous positions. Even if the vulture manages to fly away, this means they lose all their food, which of course is also pretty bad.

    • @adam-dn3hi
      @adam-dn3hi 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tokagerkun lions arent scavengers
      So the only animal the volture would deal with are hyenas

    • @tokagerkun
      @tokagerkun 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@adam-dn3hi Lions can hunt, but they definitely also scavenge. Many animals even use vultures as an easy marker to find carcasses.
      And lions might leave small bits left over, that isn't nearly enough to feed a flock of vultures. And hyenas strip animals not just to the bone, but they even crack open the bones and eat the marrow inside.
      The point is vultures aren't bad, but there are a lot of things that can make life really difficult for them, so lower mid tier seems pretty fair.
