The way she couldn't tell he was a predator and what he loved her for till that 'you got so old'. Reminds me of the girl who kept going back to highschool and said "They got older. I didn't" same thing. A predator. The older SVU episodes stay with you like no others. The writing back then was A+
Both predators yes, but the girls reasoning was because she didn't want to grow up. That's why she kept insisting she was a teenager

I have seen so many guys I remember from my younger days on play baddies on SVU: Richard Thomas, John Ritter, Robin Williams, Henry Winkler, now Kevin Tighe...and I realize, jeez, give them material and they all are/were amazing actors. I am completely and utterly wiped out here.
He plays such a great bad guy, like he did as sawyers dad on Lost
JoAnn Abbott, Kevin Tighe usually played villainous roles in movies, like K9, but little did I know he guest starred on SVU as a convicted rapist, because I mostly know him as the heroic firefighter paramedic Roy DeSoto in the 1972 TV series Emergency!

This actor always plays really skeevy characters in law and order. He was in emergency a classic show from the 70s. Where he played an EMT.

It’s crazy how she realized that the man who kidnapped her was a horrible person after he told her “you got so old”
I haven't seen the ep in years - sounds like she was taken out of a legitimately bad situation & either had Stockholm syndrome or actually loved him. And then the little doubts she developed as she matured in his absence - such as, you cannot have a healthy relationship with a teenager - got confirmed.
Great performance by them both.
This was creepy, heartbreaking, and ended with pure insanity. The way he said “You got so old.” Literal chills! You can tell he’s “heartbroken” because she had to grow up. The acting in this episode is so chilling, but amazing. It gives a whole new twisted perspective on pedophile’s. At least this one, really is twisted and thinks he’s “in love” with young girls. So creepy!

@@zurirobinson2749 she was 15 when kidnapped and waited 25 years for him to come back but he didnt as was put in jail then never came back to the cabin so she was supposed to be 40 in this, though she only looked in late 20s early 30s to me...

Kevin Tighe is the actor - He became famous for his role as Paramedic Roy DeSoto on the show Emergency. He played Warden Snyder in the 1992 Disney musical "Newsies" and also played the Double-Deuce bar owner in the movie "Road House" in 1989. He was such a "good guy" in Emergency and has played a lot of "bad guys" afterwards.
