This is how i fixed it after days of ripping my hair off: My setup Ssd + hdd Gtx 1650 Ryzen 7 32 gb ram Xbox controller wireless Wired connection 1gb 1. install through origin not ea app 2. Install it to hdd not ssd 3. Move temp and documents to hdd where the game is installed ( you can find the steps on youtube ) 4. Display settings in game : 1920x1080 No limit Off Off Medium 5. Nvidia settings : vsync on, maximum performance for power plan, select gpu for opencl rendering, general settings performance 6. Run as administrator 7. Adaptive switch to classic in controls Now there are 3 more things I did that no one said anything about them. 1. Make sure your controller has good batteries like duracel or something 2. Auto switch move asistance to none (when i switched it to low i got weird connection issues) 3. I had a v ethernet default switch adapter enabled in adapter settings network and sharing so i had to uninstall that and also disabled Hyper V I played 10 games with one of my friends no speed lag no stuttering, plays like butter.

Once you choose TEMP or TMP file and hit browse directory it will open up window where you can choose where to send that file. Now just choose one of your hard drives to save these 2 files to. I did create a folder on my HDD drive(name it whatever) and saved them there. Fixed the issue for me. That is ofcourse if you have game on SSD drive or have 2 HDDs on your computer then you can move those 2 files to a different drive.
Sadly does not work for me. I have 2 SSDS (M.2 nvme, 3500 MBps read speed), and i moved the folder. Still getting the speed up lag. I even tried adding my external HDD, which did not help either. I have gigabit connection on ethernet on my PC. I live in Scandinavia in a very good area, and Fifa is the only game where i get these speed up lag spikes. Game states 8 ping before i enter the match. EA servers are so shit.
@@veronshehu3822 Yes i actually did. I was playing on PC with a PS4 controller. And the USB port on the controller was loose, and everytime it disconnected, the game would freeze. I bought a cheap knock off PS4 controller with a cable attachted to the controller, and since then i've not had any problems with the lag.

But this fixed it for me! So far I played 3 games and in none of them my game frooze, so really thank you so much once again, you definitly deserve my like :)

After I do that I launch the game and it crashes almost instantly. I figured out that my CPU usage increases a lot when the freeze and speed lag occurs. (I have a good PC) Any help?
If anyone has a problem that theyre game doesnt turn on after changing the folder locations. Check out your second drive and make sure that both of ur folders are there.

Got another hdd and it works now perfectly. Also put system variables to the same temp on hdd

Hey guys, it's important that you have your temp files on a SSD and the game itself on a SSD. It seems to not like HDDs.

Check the fps cap in the nvidia settings. I capped mine at 144 in the fifa settings but the nvidia settings overrides it for some reason
