I'm using the English threaded type for my fat bike but am having problems getting a SNUG FIT. As I pedal there is a distinctive knocking. Have tried varying the number of "spacers"" on each side but fall foul every single time. Beginning to think the spacers are important in keeping the BB cups correctly in depth with the step up diameters of the crank spindle I see on each end.. anyone with advice??
how well should a new bb spin? should the new bb have any noise? will it be tight cause its new then loosed up and spin more freely? i just installed a pf gxp bb and it seems tight and has light click noise, normal???
Thank You for the step by step explanation! Much appreciated. I’ll have to reliance my own soon.
what about the spacers? whats the case i need to use them?
hi thxs 4the vid . What type of bottom brackets fits in? can you use shimano instead, which ones ? thxs
what BB tool are you using there? See a load from Park tools like this, but not sure which one is best for SRAM?
