- Vikram Batra's Sacrifice is the stuff of folklore. Barkha Dutt interviewed him at the frontline during the war, an interview which introduced Yeh Dil Maange More as a national war cry. Ten years later she traveled back with Vishal Batra, Vikram's twin to Kargil. For him it was his first visit. She also traveled back with two other soldiers whom she had met at the war front as a young reporter.

I cannot hold back my tears..humbling and moving, leaving me with so much to think of on how we look at life .Thank you for the beautiful tribute.Words of these officers and the sacrifices of these soldiers will remain in the deepest recesses of our being.

Maj Vishal Thapa's feel for the mountains reminds me of the berg films of Arnold Fank and Leni Reifenstahl- they loved the mountains for its pristine purity.

Because to pak army's upper hand position the whole highway was in their range and which is why there was always a risk of supply line being cut.which is why during night the army trucks won't switch on their headlight to avoid getting noticed as you can see in 19:19

I remember when a journalist forced 3 soldiers to fire a shell so that she could record it for her story .. moments later it was tracked by Pakistani and counter fired and those poor souls lost their lifes..
But nevertheless roti hai abb kisi ko chita pe seko ya gas pe ki farak painda hai taste to same hai..

People making this false allegation against her that she somehow gave away military secrets by reporting from frontline are also silent about Gaurav Sawant etc because they from Godi media 😂 Gen Malik has given given clean chit to Barkha and trolls has no fact on their side. We all know of the feats of brave hearts like Capt Batra first hand because of her reporting. She is epitome of courageous journalism

That's why No responsibilities were fixed on anyone for this massive intelligence failure & resultant deaths of hundreds of our soldiers. Top army brass instead decorated themselves with medals & were shameless to project it as victory & observe it as Vijay Diwas instead of Introspection diwas. Nation has been befooled by generals & politicians since then.
