My father started to drive international in 1995. 15 years passed. on the road...
but now the situation for him about trucking is like the last song says :

I was Watching those videos of your father driving when i was a kid and now watching you driving is like inspirational, watching those long trips, issues on the road with the trucks got me thinking, you guys are strong and disciplined. I still remember every time my mom and I were standing outside our village waiting for my father come back safely.
It is deeply cutted in my mind,i will never forget the scene when mom and I saw my father came back safe and happy.
Sometimes he is very tired and I learned to be a good boy from that time.
Life is not easy.

congrats to your dad, it's a hard life on the road, i was truck driver in europe only 6 months and it's really hard working, but still a wonderful experience. Then i just drive in my country doing small loads. Great videos^^

Я там тоже выгружался- видно было по машине , что она ухоженая и водитель чистый аккуратный-уважаю таких людей. Сам пока работаю на бусе но скоро надеюсь получу права с,е. I am in China and my father is also a truck driver,he has been driving trucks for 30 years,I saw he drive when I was very young.
he began to driver on tractor before I was born,then after several years he has his own truck and start the truck driving career.

Your dad was so lucky to work on those trucks.. almost every year new top truck.. very lucky xD I think that's the reason he was smiling a lot.. Scania, Volvo, MAN, Mercedes-Benz..
That TGX was awesome..
Sad moment in 2010 though. He wasn't smiling anymore. :(

My Father used to drive a 1995 Volvo FH12 Globetrotter before he left the company in 2002, he didn't work until his death in 2009. He liked the Volvo, as it was tough, and strong...

I really want to join the industry, but I am currently in work right now, so, I may give it a few years before I decide to change industry!

yes, thats true. With that blue MAN TGX he even was away from home for 4 months! But it was good time, he had a great company, even i would say THE BEST.. best boss, best collegues, best mechanics..
and i also agree with you about trucking.. i think that he will miss it and will drive truck after some time..
