On 13-Jan, Nifty's first 15 min normal and heikin ashi both candles are red. Heikin Ashi candle's high and low is 17872 and 17788 respectively. So as per the rule, we have to initiate sell trade and sell 17900CE. After that at 12:15 heikin ashi candle closed above 17872 so we have to square off our trade and have to initiate buy trade. My question is, which near the money strike price we have to consider? High of our first 15 min Heikin Ashi candle (17872) or low of our first 15 min Heikin Ashi candle (17788)? Other word, we have to sell 17900 PE or 17800PE?
I have one question, on 2nd Jan we got the trade on second candle however you have marked the low of first candle. Why not second candle? So its not clear that which candle should be considered for marking the high and Low. Pl explain.

While backtesting i see there are few days when strategy runs properly but on the other hand market reverses and if i wait until support to break by that time whole profit gets lost and turn into huge negative. Any solution for this? Pls help..perfect example 30/12/24
@ one more question sir! For Nifty SL on screen 50% or less? Bcos now the quantity is 75 , if like today both side SL hits then loss would be huge! Thats why asking.

If consecutive 2 or 3 candles in hikenashi become green and all the candles closing above the previous candle high then I move my sl to the last green candle low and if hikenashi candle closed below that latest level I sqroff my position and take reverse position means selling and do the same trailing things. It requires time and monitoring so yeah you need to be active. And one more thing I only take signals from hiken ashi candles. I don't match the actual candle whether it's green or red. I follow hikenashi if the starting candle is red sell call if it's green sell puts irrespective of original candle colour and follow trailing.

Nice strategy. I am based in USA. I trade the SPX and Nasdaq index. I back tested it on both the indices and I am not seeing good results. There are around 50% of the days when you will hit Stop Loss 3 times on the same day. By the time you take the 4th trade for the day, the premiums are eroded and it would not be worth to take further risk. Would love to hear your opinion on this. I visually looked at NIFTY and Bank NIFTY as well and it more or less looks the same.
Dear Sir have you back tested with proper data on excel if yes then plz share the data with us. The strategy needs to manually tested, further are you trading in daily weekly or monthly expires or what, we are truly trading in this stat in options, this is not make for future trading. There is a slight possibility that the strategy needs some tweaks for trading in USA market that is known as optimisation of a indicator or stat. it is not true that if a indicator is optimised in one scrip it will also work for the other scrip without changing the parameter. plz consider

What I do is trailing. If consecutive 2 or 3 candles in hikenashi become green and all the candles closing above the previous candle high then I move my sl to the last green candle low and if hikenashi candle closed below that latest level I sqroff my position and take reverse position means selling and do the same trailing things. It requires time and monitoring so yeah you need to be active. And one more thing I only take signals from hiken ashi candles. I don't match the actual candle whether it's green or red. I follow hikenashi if the starting candle is red sell call if it's green sell puts irrespective of original candle colour and follow trailing.

THe SL is as per Technical rules as explained in the video, Still you wanna keep a SL then it can be 50% of the premium sold.

Hi. Very well crafted strategy. I have been doing positional heiken ashi for a while now and this adds a whole new perspective for intraday. Great stuff, thanks a lot. Just a quick query. While taking a reversal trade on hitting the SL, what should be the new strike prices and SL . Should we stick to the original resistance and support as strike price and SL respectively for reversal trade also( if intial trade at 9:15 was an uptrend i.e)
thanks, as the SL hits the candle which hits the SL will become the new support and resistance and also the low or high of that candle will be sold as a strike and will act as a SL candle also

Nice strategy. I am based in USA. I trade the SPX and Nasdaq index. I back tested it on both the indices and I am not seeing good results. There are around 50% of the days when you will hit Stop Loss 3 times on the same day. By the time you take the 4th trade for the day, the premiums are eroded and it would not be worth to take further risk. Would love to hear your opinion on this. I visually looked at NIFTY and Bank NIFTY as well and it more or less looks the same.
Dear Sir have you back tested with proper data on excel if yes then plz share the data with us. The strategy needs to manually tested, further are you trading in daily weekly or monthly expires or what, we are truly trading in this stat in options, this is not make for future trading. There is a slight possibility that the strategy needs some tweaks for trading in USA market that is known as optimisation of a indicator or stat. it is not true that if a indicator is optimised in one scrip it will also work for the other scrip without changing the parameter. plz consider
