Nice. The 2700 was certainly a step up from the 2100 in the same frame. I had a few CPD 2100 bars (kept one for my collection), I would like a 2700 at some point.
You are totally right! The 2700 is like night-and-day better than the 2100.... almost hard to believe the are from the same company. Both of them are still better than the Legend though... and I LIKE FedSig stuff.
Me too!! It's the only bar that I have with the Cruise option, that functions that way. My Freedom allows both at the same time. Although the cruise is much dimmer on the Freedom, it's still available. Good catch!
@@AdamsLights I may be wrong, but I believe there are three settings on the cruise lights, just slap the pattern change wire to the power, and it SHOULD change it
This is the CC version I assume with the onboard logic board, I have the older RX2700 non-CC and I have to physically change the flash pattern with a screwdriver by shorting the contacts on some of the light heads.
You are right! My 2100 LED bar is the same way... you can only change the flash pattern for each set of LEDs, and its be grounding them out. Thanks for watching!
I also have an older RX2700! It has always been on the Cycle Flash pattern and I never knew you could change it...can anyone tell me in detail how to do that?
@@thelightguy2 Some lightheads on my bar couldn't be changed, they're a static pattern. Take a look at Page 6 of this manual: manualzz.com/doc/21146602/rx-2700%E2%84%A2-installation-andamp%3B-operation-manual
Yeah. they aren't bad bars at all!! It's got a TON of features that I didn't even hook up that would be cool to work with on the streets. Thanks for watching!
@@AdamsLights I chose to go without a lightbar, I bought a retired police charger and the police department sold me everything that was in the car, it’s fully equipped with lights and sirens 5.7l hemi rwd 2013 model got her for 3100$’s the lights and sirens are only for display use on private property.
@@AdamsLights I did upload a short on the car on my page view it if you want, still has the center console with desktop mount and the cage with plastic back seats, which I’ve got leather ones to install

Hate that you can't flash with the cruise on at the same time

@@bartmaster1234 I believe that one is for the RX2700 with Prism II modules, mine has Prism I modules.
does this have a takedown over-ride for positoin 3?
Yep, Takedowns will always override the flashing TD's feature, in any position.
My pd still has a few of these in use

Yeah. This is one of the only bars in my collection that is still in-service. Wait a while, and it'll go down.
