I *was* considering getting one of these but its just dropped off my short list with the awful sound on the up change; sounds like someone grinding gears in a manual from inside the car. 🤢 It would drive me mad.

But the normal CLA 250 is as fast as the 4matic one right? Mercedes says 0-100 km/h : 4Matic = 6,6s normal 250 = 6,7s so not big difference

4matic just means 4wheel drive or all wheel drive. I have the cla250 4matic.

I've the 250 4M in a GLA and driving normal leads to 7 liters. Driving boring to 6-6,5 and driving like hell is 13+

I drive my coupe 4matic around 12-15L/100km manual mode sometimes jacks it to 16-17L/100km

+Diamond Automotive Design it's sporty, but still very comfortable for everyday use. So it's not that stiff.

+itz DooM™ it only makes that sound in s-mode and only for the "sport" model. The regular CLA250 doesn't make that sound when upshifting.
