- This is a practice routine that will have you playing an A Dorian pattern through diatonic intervals from 2nds to 7ths. This will test your memorisation of the scale and also feel like a game of Twister for your fingers in a few spots. Apply these intervals to melodies in small fragments when you can play each interval segment in full. Learn lots of good stuff from me every month at / chrisbrooksguitar
I've spliced all the examples together but, in your practice room, you'll want to get used to each one first. There are 6 interval groups and seven days in a week, so why not try one of these per day for the next week (and then give yourself a day off)? Tab: gum.co/youtube...
