    It's all about those moments bro, really dig the light trails and especially the silhouette airport shot.

    Yay for your Holga week and this video!! You got some really cool shots!! Enjoyed your impressions. I have a couple Holgas and was interested in this one, so I appreciated your views. I smashed the like button, so I think all your little eggies (including me) would appreciate a video with your Holga and a flash! Thanks for your videos and your channel, I always enjoy!!!

    I appreciate the "This video is now over." I always do struggle to realize when a video has ended 📼

    These light trails are awesome, and it doesn't look that "bad" in black and white. Normally, i would prefer them in colour.
    My first camera was the Canon AV-1 and trust me, leaving the shutter at bulb for the WHOLE time knowingly was even worse. We learn from mistakes and i am glad i did that. :D
    Some of my best shots were taken on an Agfa Isoly, which is kind of like a Holga. Some people claim that the Isoly is slightly sharper, maybe a tiny bit. Same issue, always watch out for the switches. :D
    Medium format on 4x4 has some charme to it, getting 16-17 shots out of one roll is actually pretty cool. Maybe you wanna try it at some point?^^

    Love the light trails! For the record, some people claim that 10 minutes in Ohio feels like an eternity - I’ll catch you next time haha.

      Hey man!! I thought it was cool haha. I'm sure I was in the most touristy area imaginable though, would like to see the real Ohio. Cheers man, we will get together soon haha

    Did you ever experience your photos overlapping ?

    Since you love lo-fi so much, here's a special thing I think you should buy when you have a spare 10$ burning a hole in your pocket. Get a DZ09 smartwatch. It's got a nice 320x240 camera in it that's sure to turn you into an international man of mystery 😉
    And yes, the Micro SD card you put in it will probably cost more than the whole watch.

      @@SweetLouPhotography I totally forgot to mention something: if you get one, make sure you disable the motion sensing in the menu; it's a real battery hog.

    I have this camera and looking for a flash for it. What’s a good recommendation?

    You talk about vignetting. Maybe you know it, maybe not but BC means black corners.
    Anyway, subbed.
    5:40 okay, you know it.

    I love these! Would you recommend the Holga 135BC or the Kodak Ektar H35? I want a fun little film camera to take aesthetic photos like yours :)

    • @SweetLouPhotography
      @SweetLouPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually am working on a Kodak Ektar H35 vid right now. They are different though, considering the H35 is a half frame. So I'm not sure if that matters to you or not. The H35 is way smaller, lighter and more pocketable. I like the look of it way more, but it's fixed focus. I think both cameras have their pros and cons, depends on what you're trying to do with it. The H35 is probably the more economical choice, since it can stretch a roll out further

      @@SweetLouPhotography Thanks so much for your reply! I look forward to watching the Kodak Ektar H35 video; I think it will be important in making my decision.
      But in regard to what I'm trying to do with it: I just want a simple, small point and shoot camera that I can take traveling. Nothing professional (obviously), but just for the aesthetic of the photos I will capture

    I just bought this camera and I have no experience with 35mm - when do I use bulb? Thanks for the video!!

    • @SweetLouPhotography
      @SweetLouPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว

      Bulb keeps the shutter open as long as your finger is on the shutter button (or you could use a cable release instead of holding it down) It's used for longer exposures, for example you can set it to bulb mode and do a long exposure of the stars trailing by. Hope that helps
