It's been almost 10 years since this performance was published and still to this day it gives me chills every time.
Is anybody else always on the verge of tears whenever they watch Genevieve sing? Fuckin beautiful!
What makes her so awesome is that her whole being is fully in the present with the music. She makes those faces you'd see certain incredible guitar players making as they go into musical ecstasy. She is one with the music and uses her whole body and being as an instrument. You can see how she lets it wash over and through her, and when she sings, you're hearing her joy to be alive and making music. That is why I love and respect her. She is music.
this song make me feel like when i was a toddler. when the world was new and an ADVENTURE!!!

The first time I ever heard them was in concert with Grouplove... that woman gives you a feeling you just can't describe. Absolutely incredible.
Company Of Thieves is pure class and talent, world will wake from its slumber soon and realise the talent of the decade!

I just watched her Tiny Desk concert and thought she was great, but this! This is beyond. Too bad they broke up. She seems destined for greater fame as a solo act, but this was a great band.

yesterday saw them live in Philly. Completely unexpected... I never go to Philly... so I decided i should check it out... So I am there with my friend.. my friend calls his Philly friend and turns out we get invited to a show where "the friend" is playing trumpet for Company of Thieves for Tallulah song.... Her voice live blew me away with their first song...Thank you guys...great show...im your fan now :)

this is the only band i liked at LC's summerfest three years ago... still absolutely amazing, I would love to see them again, they've only been getting better since then

truly , i mean i only found out about them two years ago and i have been hoping to see them , their energy blew my mind and the little calculated strokes they make ...it just ...yeah i'm really disappointed , but then again its another chapter in their lives as people not as friends in a band

+Username47948 Genevieve did a solo session about 9 months ago with Audiotree that's also awesome. The drummer/bassist from this session perform with her so it has more of a feel of her Company of Thieves work than her EP did.
