Guess what time it is…it’s Independent Suspension and disc brakes time. We have been waiting a year to have this service done on Theo. In this video, you ride with us from New Market, VA, to Dayton, Ohio, where we boondocked, then to Elkhart, In, and Morryde for two days of fun!!! Wow, thats slick how they install it now. I know they used to have to weld the brackets directly to the frame. Now you got us thinking. Lol

Yep, and it did not take 4 days to install. Y’all need it. You would love it.
We are one of those who have had a close call but luckily it was found out before damage. Got the IS put on May 14th. Went back to NC then down to Tishomingo, Miss. to our Service Center to fix a issue with our windows. The tech who we have known 8 yrs. found that our left front wheel was lose. He found that the caster nut was two full rounds from tight. Close and so he raises the other side to check and found the right rear wasn't done properly neither. Last was that the left front 7of the 8 lugs were cross threaded. Notified Morryde and discussed the issue and how disappointed we were. Could have been real bad. All in all though the IS is a better ride on the F/W.

Ha…we didn’t unhook so it was convenient to go to Kroger and back to the camper.
Oh wow! We have never stayed at Cabela's. It could be dangerous for us (meaning $$$). I can always find something to buy there. Thank you for sharing your experience and upgrades with us. --Jen
We tried to resist going in the store but that didn’t work. We did good though we didn’t buy anything, just walked around and out.
Nice upgrade! We were there June 28th for a new cushioned pin box. Yep the trains were fun! They are an awesome company that does great work. Enjoy!

They were pretty good.
We got our IS done in March. Best upgrade so far (hubby is planning an extensive solar project). If you ever have the opportunity, check out the Grissom Air Museum in Peru, Indiana, just south of Elkhart. We stayed overnight as a Harvest Host guest. Well worth the stop.

Another Great Video! Please make a update video about what you think about the ride quality after the upgrade vs the CRE 3000. We are getting the CRE 3000 installed now.
We had CRE 3000 on our unit from the factory. It is a good system and I think you will enjoy it. Our FW is heavy and we are full time so, I wanted to have the best suspension and brakes that I could get on the unit. There is a difference in the ride. The camper tracks really good because they align all the FW wheels. The hype its true. very little moves in the camper while traveling. The brakes are great also. Thanks and good luck. Duane

Great job on the video! We had our IS done last year in July. It really makes a big difference in how your rig tows. Like you, we have a triple axle Keystone Fuzion and they wanted me to back in bay 4! I gave them the keys and told him to have fun! You did a great job backing in to bay #6! We'll be back at MOrryde on July 31st to have our brake pads replaced. As luck would have it, we got the bad batch of brake pads! You can hear us squealing a mile away as soon as I touch them. We're also going to have them perform the yearly maintenance as well. That whole crew at MORryde is great to work with.

Yep, the trains come in the middle of the night early morning, and I do not live in Ohio. They all must have the same schedule.
It wasn’t too bad since it was only 1 night but we go back in August for the Grand Design National Rally and we have already been told to be prepared.

Hi - I love your channel! Will MORyde void your warranty? I thought the 5th wheel was supposed to be level when you put out the slideouts or it could cause problems with the tracking on the slideouts. Can I ask how much weight the IS added to your rig?
Will MORryde void the warranty for??? I try to get the 5th wheel as level as possible while hooked to the truck. I haven’t had any issues with either of my 5th wheels while using this method. The three 8K axles add about 1000 pounds.
@@AllAboutTheBanks I was just wondering about the warranty on your 5th wheel. I've seen a lot of concern about flex-frame or frame failure on larger 5th wheels and some of the blow-back from the manufacturers was in regards to non-OEM updates/replacements for the pin box and/or traveling while over the weight limit for the 5th wheel. On another channel, I saw someone experiencing warranty problems with their 5th wheel for replacing leaf springs with something that was beefy-er, so I was just wondering if upgrading your RV might cause you warranty issues. I love the fact that ya'll are living your dream with the RV life; I'm hoping to do the same in a couple of years. 🙂
The IS can be ordered as a factory upgrade from Grand Design. That's one of the reasons I decided to go with MORryde. The suspension seems to help with the frame issues but I don't think it solve it. Just because we have an upgraded suspension dosent mean we will add more weight to the unit. We try to really keep our weight down. Thanks for watching.
I have a 376 and thought about getting the independent suspension installed. Did it change the height of your fifth wheel?
Not really, they do a lot of measuring to make sure you are not over heighth. They set you up to be level based on your tow vehicle. Mine ended up being 13'4".
