I cannot stress the importance of getting colonoscopies done once you reach age 50 onwards-for everyone. Colon cancer has one of the highest survival rates if detected early. Lost my mother to it almost a decade ago. She was 55-detected at stage 4-passed away within 4 very painful months of diagnosis. Please, if you have history of gastric issues in the family(but no known cases of cancer) get colonoscopies done. 🙏🏾
