And while she's pretending to be able to deal with something so deep and horrific without doing the one thing a real social worker would have done from day ONE: counselling, the days and years go by before even a mention of counselling is made. The particulars of the trial are questionable as well. I only hope that the prosecution notified the defense that another, key witness had been added to the prosecution's list of witnesses. And that the reason for the older daughter's presence was to add information that defense would accept as helping to illustrate a pattern of behavior. And ONLY that.
