There is MUCH searching of the Scriptures with the WRONG motives. Some want to deceive others. Some want to cavil and prove points. Others want to appear knowledgeable and learned. ALL these are ALL unworthy motives. The only TRUE MOTIVE for studying the WORD OF GOD is to get to KNOW Him whom to know is LIFE Eternal. We study to know His perfect Character and allow the Holy spirit to mold our own characters after the divine pattern, after that of Jesus.
