The longer video was cool especially since we got an extended adventure with your dog. It's crazy just how much difference a fresh cost of paint makes!
Your jigsaw should have speed settings that would reduce chipout, and I would start with the highest blade speed for that type of material. Someone else mentioned painter's tape but you can also score your cut line with a blade or try work with the opposite side of the material. Also, great video :)

Blade cuts at a upward stroke and and lifting the solid surface flipping the material and putting the template then cut out means the blade cuts up threw the solid surface on the bottom at a upward stroke, try it
Long videos are great, providing the content is interesting, and holds our attention - and this does, in spades! As mentioned in other comments, painter's tape along the line you're cutting 'cuts' down on chipping, as does a finer blade and turning the board over, and cutting from the underside. I did wonder about the forest fires, and the danger you may be in. The headlines have been quite dramatic over here (Scotland), and your little 'project' hadn't mentioned them, until now. I hope you can complete where you are, but don't put yourself in danger. Otherwise, keep up the good work!
I'm glad the longer content isn't boring, thanks for saying that! Yeah honestly regarding forest fires, I didn't want to make it a thing, but the smoke was just too thick to ignore. All is well now though, the fires are further and slightly more tame, so I'm (hopefully) in the clear. Hope you guys are safe over there too. what a year..
Hi ellie dot didn't make it in his class .in school for a k9 but 2 of his brothers and one sister did .. 3 of them passed. It's going to look nice my friend. I'm looking for a small one like yours. I would do it black. It going to look nice. I think you need to tape it before you cut .the line out .but it still looks good. My friend ttul .😊
Make sure you have the correct blade to the wood you are cutting....but also it needs to be sharpe....as you cut wood it begins to dull the blade that ad you go it will start chipping the wood....but more importantly go with the grain not against it.....
Love the longer video, longer the better.
Amazing I'm glad to hear this... thanks for letting me know!

Hi nice job looking good 👍 stay safe. PS longer videos are good 👍
Very cool looking good
Thanks Daniel :D
Rough edges are caused by the board vibrating, level the whole board while cutting.

It's nothing you did... it's the style of wood you used don't worry about it

What's with running the dog , then putting in cage without giving him water?
call PETA, what you see on film must be the whole story.. poor dehydrated neglected dog :(
Put masking tape down before cutting. That will prevent the chipping.
great vid longer are better
Glad you like them!
You should have traced and don't your cutting of the board from the other side to avoid it chipping
Never wear gloves when using power tools.
