I’m so happy I came across your video. Today I was going to create a Rhinestone T-shirt in Cricut Design Space but I stopped to do more research. After coming across your video I see it is not that simple in Cricut Design Space. Glad I have a Shilouette Cameo 4 in which I can at least design Rhinestone Templates in Shilouette Studio without the issues in Cricut Design Space. I see now it is better to purchase the Business Edition in Shilouette Studio. Thank you so much for sharing!!!
I wish I had known more about the limitations of cricut design space. I would have purchased the silhouette cameo 4 instead. Now, I have both because I later learned the benefits of using the silhouette business edition and the cameo 4 cutter. Now, I rarely use my Cricut because I’m more and more comfortable with the silhouette software and cameo 4. It cuts so much faster and better.
Yeah - I sometimes wish I had started with Silhouette. I had the Cameo 4 but never embraced it and sold it recently. I then purchased the Cameo 5 and promised myself I'd dive in. Working on that today.
How do you determine the size when creating the design in Silhouette? And does that size transfer correctly into DS? This was an excellent video…! Thank you!
Thank you. 😊 When designing a rhinestone project in Silhouette Studio, you select the size rhinestones you want to use. Designs are usually pretty large to work well with rhinestones. And when saving it out as an svg and loading that into DS, it came over perfect for me.
Hello, Sure Cuts A lot is another software program that allows you to create rhinestone templates and upload the templates into many of the cutters. Silhouette, Cricut and Brother Scan and Cut, to name a few.
Great video with many helpful hints. I seem to have trouble picking a font. It looks great when it's just text, but turns into mishmash when I change it to one filled with rhinestones. You used University font. May I ask where you got it? Thank you!
Glad it was helpful. I believe the University font was in Silhouette’s software. I typically purchase fonts from Font Bundles - fontbundles.net/plus-choose?pref=AlzBbp
I just tried again by typing in MOM into Silhouette, changing it to rhinestones, saving the file as an SVG and importing it in to Design Space. No issues. I'm not sure what's going on. What's the image?
You can design in other applications like Silhouette Studio and import them in to the Brother. I believe you can use Sure Cuts A Lot with Brother instead of Brother’s software but Cricut limits you to their software.
Sure cuts alot lets you export as a svg ...i have scal, shilouette and brother software i do like the brother software because scal lets ya import the fcm then save it as an svg

Excellent video! 👍🏽 This is by far the best explanation I’ve seen on how to do this in a simple and easy way.
Thank you for that feedback. We appreciate it.
That’s a GREAT TIP for getting the flock dots to release. And an EXCELLENT TIP for brushing in the two color rhinestones!!!
Thank you 🙂
Oh no - I can already see it. Tim with rhinestones on your next cruise!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Are you PSYCHIC? How did you know we were BEDAZZLING Tim's captain's jacket???
YES!!! Is it done yet?

Thanks for watching. We LOVE rhinestones and really which Cricut would add that feature.
Great video. Love the flock hack.
Thank you! 😊

I’m a new subscriber to your channel.
Thank you so much! We appreciate you.
Me too !
Rhinestones add flare to everything! 🙂
Great tutorial! Thanks for the removing the flock cutout hack. That's surely a game changer.
Thank you! The hack for removing the flock has saved me SO much time.
Awesome thank you for the video on how to do the rhinestone t-shirts. Your the best 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.

Thanks Stacy! Haven’t tried that one but will look into it. 🙂
How do you make everything look so easy? I am struggling with Cricut software. It’s so difficult to learn for me. 😢
Sorry you're struggling. I'll look at making a complete Design Space tutorial and walk through everything.

Help! When I upload my rhinestone svg image to cricut it does not upload the same size. It shows us very very small🤷🏼♀️

I did exactly what you suggested, but had to do a 2nd pass, my cricut did not cut through on the first pass. :(
Hmmm… maybe a new blade would help or add more pressure. Even though you had to do 2 passes, I hope the rest turned out well.
Hi there, do you have tyo have the brother scan and cut to have the software? like cricut? or can you just use the software like in silhouette?
You can design in other applications like Silhouette Studio and import them in to the Brother. I believe you can use Sure Cuts A Lot with Brother instead of Brother’s software but Cricut limits you to their software.

I need to look into sure cuts for sure 😊
