- This is a relatively new raga created by Pandit Jagannath Bua Purohit 'Gunidas'. This raga is a combination of Raga Jog and Raga Chandrakauns.
Born on 1st July 1966, Ustad Rashid Khan is an Indian Classical musician in the tradition of Hindustani Music. His first concert was at the age of eleven. He joined the ITC Sangeet Research Academy (SRA) at the age of fourteen. He experiments a lot by fusing Hindustani music with lighter musical genres like a Sufi fusion. He was awarded with Padma Shri in 2006 for his contribution and dedication towards Indinan Music. Apart from this, he has won a number of awards and continues to perform in many musical festivals and concerts across the globe.
