It's better if you can afford it! lol. I thought of buying a large field just to live in it and to make a Drone Zone testing and flying field too, lol. But of course I don't have enought money. But we never know lol.

Thanks. My Gauge preset is almost the same as on of the defaults on the FlightData Manager. The creator of FlightData Manager ask me once if he could use my design on its program.
Just one question...is the Parrot Disco exempt from the FAA rules that state that you are supposed to have the drone in sight at all times, because as far away as it was flying, and the distance it has been away from the operator in other videos, it appears like that rule does not apply to this drone....Most of the videos show it way beyond line of sight..........and when flying with FPV goggles, you are supposed to have a spotter who keeps the drone in sight at all times............Just wondering.......

Here we know that all the fake risks concerning drones (disco is a foamy...) have been built by an industry willing to steal our sky and put automated transport drones instead... only idiots are buying this “rules”... then feel free to make Bezos a bit more rich if you want with your FAA rules, but stay in the US... where you managed to trade freedom for safety, then deserve neither...

As we've been talking about the subject of "landing the Parrot Disco, this video shows an approach in very complicated wind conditions, th-cam.com/video/ow-M0W3lJTc/w-d-xo.html, approaching over 250 meters and a descent stairway keeping the drone aligned, reducing speed and altitude by stages.As it turns out in the end, the Parrot Disco is practically stopped at the time of landing so it could be grabbed with his hands.I hope I have helped. What flight times do you usually get ? I bought one Disco with a fried battery it seems, it's bulging badly and has to go, makes me wonder about them putting real cheap cells in there... did you ever get the 45 minutes with new battery ?
I could see that, in this flight, nice data layer btw. - from the Garmin site, I especially like the template with the little directional wing.. So usually you stop at around 30 minutes ? Probably good for your battery, as I said I have one that's completely toast, totally pregnant and no capacity anymore. It get to normal voltage, but it drops so bad that the whole c.h.u.c.k cuts out, after a few manouvers involving high throttle. I have to fly in an area it can land anywhere without fatality, cause it can go down anytime. Never had a LiPo in such bad shape - it's like the charger killed it, maybe. Or someone left it in the sun or something.. Did you ever hear about someone trying Li-ion batteries in the Disco, the tiny motor doesn't pull much amps it should be fine.
Yes the original ones are not very good are they. I've been looking at different setups, but they all use the same standard Li-Po's. I want to try Li-Ion batteries(like the 18650) since they are much lighter(and light up mucher..:) it's strange only a few people use them in rc, if you know what you're doing, they don't catch fire. Of course you won't get 95C's but you don't need that for a Disco setup for long flight times. I just watched a video with a guy flying his homebuilt wing for an hour with these. Titan f.ex. is a brand that sells them ready made. Up to 3C I think Panasonic cells can do.
Nice video ! How did you get the roll and pitch values on your overlay ? When i edit my flights, they are not here, just like these values aren't recorded. My softs are all up to date..
Yes of course, all other values are in place except roll and pitch...

Hi Helder Hugo. You are a lucky guy, your video cam still perfect!!! In a humble way, I suggest you look at some of my landing videos where you can see how I prepare landings for the wind and the surrounding environment. You can practically stop the Parrot Disco in the air. In a place with so many elements dangerous to the Disc, I suggest you not land on the ground, but grab the Parrot Disco with your hands. I hope to help because, as I said before, destroying a video cam is an expensive investment! Regards

This was controlled by the Skycontroller 2 it have a big range like a WiFi booster.

The UMI SUPER so far so good with the FreeFligtt Pro. But there are better smartphones out there :-)

I didnt get 45 minutes. Maybe half an hour. I usually don't go any further then 30% or 20% Power

Sometimes batteries died after a couple of flights. There are many people using other types of batteries on the Disco.
