I love how you organized your laundry room. The only thing I would have done differently is the hydrogen peroxide. It loses its effectiveness if its not stored properly. “Air and light reacts with peroxide by accelerating the rate of its decomposition. You can help extend the shelf life of your hydrogen peroxide by storing it in a cool location and in a dark container.”

As a wife and mom of 12 (5 biological 6 bonus babies and 1 angel baby) organization is MENTAL HEALTH for me! It saves me soooooo much sanity when you have a large family and everyone is asking “Mom have you seen my...” lol. For me everything has to have a dedicated space or place otherwise it drives me up a wall! I am also a visual person as well so I absolutely love clear, labeled and aesthetically pleasing organization containers! I love my Cricut! New subbie! Your content is so refreshing! Unless you use it constantly, emptied fast , always swapping it out. Also depends on if the laundry room always gets a lot of light or if the lights are off most of the time :)

Love what you did in your laundry room...may I suggest you put an under cabinet light or LED strip(s) in to lighten up under the cabinets on to your shelf you added so it won't he so shadowy and will highlight your lovey decor. Have a great day!

My favorite clean smell that I have found so far is just mixing the dark blue dawn dish soap with water and putting it in spray bottles. If the ratio is right it works awesome on mirrors, too. But it just leaves this odorless smell in the house without a fragrance masking. :) oh and my favorite part is the decanting/restocking bins/bottles/containers as well 🤍

I absolutely love this! Looks amazing! We are moving in a couple weeks and I have gotten some inspiration here! Your dads box is awesome and I’d buy one in a heart beat! I’ve been using a baby wipe holder but I like how his stacked. 👍🏻 and let’s be real, your dad made it so it’s extra special.
To avoid suds and mess, put the water in the bottles first, then add detergent, replace top, shake gently. Exterior of container stays dry ☺️

Hello days later love the room, when pouring your liquid detergent loosen the top just a tad it let's it flow better, and the dryer sheet organizer is amazing ( I think when they are out not in box or bag something the scent starts to fade ( they become an air freshener which is lovely but you want that scent for your clothing) put them in a zip lock bag and slit it just enough to pull sheets out)

I would cut and put a board to fit across all-along the top of your cabinets, whether that break-up between cabinets.( where you had your organizing jars and baskets stored. (remember?) Great job🤗🙏❤️
I typically organize by decluttering first. I seek out a thing that can be trash for whatever reason (empty, expired, broken). Once I’m done with thatgot that left I start looking to see if there is anything else I can just donate because I find I often have too much stuff and not a space for it all and I don’t actually use a lot of it. I’m at the point of organizing because I know what goes where and I know how much so I can organize with any containers I already have. I like now having but a few dishes since it’s just me. I love cute containers that are functional most 😊.

Looks great. I use the glass bottles for my laundry detergent, bleach & downy softener & they are SO heavy when they are full!!! They look great though. I LOVE the wood box your dad made!! I hate to paint too!!
Make sure you keep your bleach in a container that is not affected by light or it breaks down and doesn’t work anymore. It says it on the bottle, that’s why the containers are in a solid colour 🙂

Wow it look amazing you did an amazing job it's very functional, organized and so cute. So lucky you have a spacious laundry room with ton of cabinets for storage. Our laundry is so small, but we have also made it functional and added bins and shelves. I need to buy glass jars for my laundry detergent and softener to make it look cute. Your dad is very crafty and did a great job with that wood. He should well at Etsy and even Amazon.

I love painting! But it does take a lot of prep and most of us don’t have a designated painting area. So sometimes it turns into a chore.

Awesome video. Not sure if any one else mentioned it, but I wanted to let you know that hydrogen peroxide is EXTREMELY degradable in any kind of light. That's why it's only sold in containers that block out all light. Your glass jar idea is marvelous, but you might want to use a completely opaque or at least amber glass jar for the peroxide.

The socks we wear are the SOCKS WITH THE GRIPPERS ON THE BOTTOM the ones you find on AMAZON. They help us not to slip and fall, to get sick and they work well in the the winter time to. I’d put some wax paper on the top of the cabinets now that you cleaned then. Makes it super easy next time just pull them down and replace. Thanks for sharing! 😊❤️👏🏽

Loved your video and the storage containers are beautiful. One thing to know is you should never store hydrogen peroxide in a clear container as the exposure to light will lose its efficiency which is why you will always find HP stored in dark containers.
Great point! Thank you for mentioning it The thought actually crossed my mind after I had poured it out but I figured since it’s inside a cabinet, light doesn’t affect it much. In the case that it does, it’s just laundry. 😅I have separate HP for first aid in its original container. 😊
I've always heard to keep hydrogen peroxide in the dark container, however I recently purchased what I thought was witch hazel and later found out it was hydrogen peroxide,, that was a first I've seen in a light white bottle. I prefer to buy the dark bottles

Peroxide and Clorox have their own special containers for a reason, I suggest you to read labels before change them, in my case I don't like to storage the dryer sheets out of a box , because they smell so strong that gives me headache. I also recommend everyone to use cutting machines properly installed on a working table, not on the floor. You have good ideas, but some are not well applied. Blessings

This us a great system! I do have a question about using the larger glass bottles for detergent. Now I love the idea because it looks so much nicer. But how do you measure or poor the detergent? Do you have measuring cups? It seems like it would be heavy but I don’t know. I though I’d ask because I’d like to start using them if it’s not too challenging.

your laundry room looks awesome. I have been trying to get mine organized and it makes doing laundry or looking for cleaning products so much easier. I am wondering what you use the Borax detergent for? I have seen others use it but I have never really understood the uses for it. I have a box and don't want to waste it.
It's a laundry booster so if I have to wash cleaning rags I'll add some to that load or if I'm washing rugs. If you have athletes it will help clean their uniforms. It enhances the laundry detergent. I start the load with hot water so it dissolves (I also use a powder laundry detergent) then load the clothes then change over to the correct temp for the load. Borax is a harmful chemical so keep it out of pets/kids hands. Once opened it tends to clump. And it doesn't really have a scent.
