Just did pulled pork this past weekend and I put a little Duke's Mayonnaise on the bottom bun before I build my sandwich. Since I christened my BBQ taste buds in Eastern NC, I have to go with my homemade vinegar based sauce and top it with coleslaw. Have to say Malcolm is my go to when I'm looking for a BBQ recipe online and used his smoked chili recipe this past winter to make the best chili I've ever had. Thank you for sharing your recipes with us.

I had heard a long time ago that teams need additional help than the regular team and that people can apply to be a team member during the competition. If that’s true, do you have an application for that and what month do you start accepting them?
I’ve been following you for several years and cooked several of your recipes and would really like to help out:

I hope you win a trophee!
Are the costs worth it? I hear you pay 10k to participate and then obviously the meat...

When you get to Malcolm’s level it’s not critical to win cash prizes in order to get ahead financially. It’s a chance to promote your brand, add new retail sales and online customers, network with other cooks for future collaborations, attract new sponsors, grow your social media presence, etc. He hinted that this year a bunch of his meat and grills were provided free from sponsors. The bigger teams have nearly everything sponsored - Malcolm is on the right road
