He's grumpy, so that makes him seem sensible... but he ends up eating it anyway, which proves that he is NOT sensible.

I also wonder again why they stopped at scotch eggs, an egg covered in sausage meat and golden breadcrumbs. Why not scotch roast chicken, roast chicken covered in sausage meat and golden breadcrumbs or a scotch loaf of bread, a loaf of bread covered in sausage meat and golden breadcrumbs.

I mean, to be fair, dumpling pastry would be relatively hard to get in many supermarkets and you'd likely have to go to an Asian store for them. And I was unaware spring roll pastry like that was a thing and now wish to seek it out for myself!

does not every supermarket just have a "Cultural/Foreign" section in the UK like here in America? I feel like some of these ingredient you have a hard time finding over there seem to be everywhere over here. like Rice vinegar, ginger and sesame seeds are more common then fresh chives to put in perspective
Depending on the shop tbh. In Germany it's the same problem, most recipes I am missing at least one ingredient
