The book this movie is based on is really good. Priscilla wrote it. In it talks about his mood swings and behavior. She said it would be 3am, he would wake up, make everyone come over in a hurry because he would want to play football. Everyone around him was an enabler. They enabled the drinking, the drugs, the behavior. The whole reason Priscilla opened Graceland to the public was because it was in foreclosure when Elvis died. He was almost out of money and she did it to make money and save the house. But elvis wasnt selfish with his money. He bought people houses and cars and gave them money to help them. You have to wonder if he was bipolar, honestly. The mood swings, acting manic.
Yes he had a loving & very generous to ppl. I think he just couldn't deal with life without his mother the pain was just to much & he really needed need. And for Priscilla I give it to her. Priscilla hung in there as much as she could she loved Elvis so much and still up to this day. I wish he didn't treat her that way. It was just so sad to see that and at the end he regret everything.
Elvis did have serious mood swings. His past girlfriends witnessed this from him. He could be angry about something and than a few minutes later he is laughing or smiling. Sometimes taken back to see him like that, at times scary.
Always loved Elvis remember when he went into the army and when he came home. If he had no feelings for Pricilla he would not have asked her parents; she loved him but he was in control she was just a young teenager that he molded into what he wanted. I believe she loved him just could not compete with actress’s although she was just as beautiful as any of his co stars. I sincerely wish they could have made it work seeing them together was great. The drugs was a major issue starting in the Army to stay awake continued after coming home he also had a dark side. I enjoyed the movie very much actually after it ended I was in tears. It was the generation of men then. Not all Elvis's fault. Plus, who knows what power and fame can to do a person's mind. We weren't in the position he was in at the time. I couldn't have been an easy life for either of them. I love and respect Priscilla for having the courage to write this book and for keeping his legacy going with his family and Graceland. He would have loved to have seen the his grandchildren. The book is a good read. Priscilla has some really funny stories in it about Elvis. She did not write this to tarnish his reputation because I am sure that there were plenty of other things that she knew he wouldn't want shared. She knew how private of a person he was. The movie leaves out a lot of the positive things that she wrote about him. I am by no means an expert on Elvis. I am just a huge fan giving my thoughts. Read the book! lol

I took this movie with a huge grain of salt. I've always been a Elvis fan that truly believes he loved Priscilla and she him. But I also think her image, especially to Elvis fans, took a huge hit when she left him for that skeevy karate teacher and i think a lot of this movie was intended to repair that damage and make her look more sympathetic and give more logic and reason as to why she left Elvis for another man so soon after their marriage. I'd say the movie is probably 50/50 on the true facts of their life together. We'll never know Elvis's side, which I believe would be a lot different than this movie version.
Even as a teen I was very strong minded if a boy did something I didn’t like I was gone. I had a boyfriend I was with for two yrs. He went out with a girl from my school. She called me from his bedroom. That was it I was done. He said well you wouldn’t have sex with me. So I knew she would. I told him to keep going. He stalked me for a year and a half. Begging me calling me. Nope. He betrayed me. I was done.

This is a great movie. Even though it may seem that this would not be how Elvis would act it probably was. Sure its kinda of mean, but he was only human and he made mistakes to. Priscilla & Elvis made a great couple and I truly believe they loved each other will all their hearts. Priscilla still does a great job keeping Graceland up and running. If it wasn't for her us Elvis fans couldn't be able to visit Graceland.

Also hè had nightmare's and couldn't sleep Hè took medicins to make him sleep, the uppers we're too keep him up at the concerts. Honestly my opinion I think he had some sort of psychosis from the medicins but no one knew that much about it then. My mum is a livver patiënt and got psychosis due to medicins. The knowledge was less then now. It would explain some of the odd behaviour. Elvis was like the doctor prescribes them to me so it is ok. Never aware of the side effects medicins have.

I don’t know….if she was treated so badly & so unhappy why have such an adoring relationship with each other after the divorce? And I don’t believe in we stayed best friends for the child..I have co-parented wonderfully without being best friends. She joined him for every holiday, concert & to this day loves & respects him. Her Mom passed away a couple weeks before Elvis week & she was still there. There were even talks of getting back together. I think things are a little exaggerated. In making films they're obviously going to over dramatize it. And everyone needs to remember they're two sides to every story. This is Priscilla's view on the relationship with Elvis. The book this movie is based on is really good. Priscilla wrote it. In it talks about his mood swings and behavior. She said it would be 3am, he would wake up, make everyone come over in a hurry because he would want to play football. Everyone around him was an enabler. They enabled the drinking, the drugs, the behavior. The whole reason Priscilla opened Graceland to the public was because it was in foreclosure when Elvis died. He was almost out of money and she did it to make money and save the house. But elvis wasnt selfish with his money. He bought people houses and cars and gave them money to help them. You have to wonder if he was bipolar, honestly. The mood swings, acting manic.
Yes he had a loving & very generous to ppl. I think he just couldn't deal with life without his mother the pain was just to much & he really needed need. And for Priscilla I give it to her. Priscilla hung in there as much as she could she loved Elvis so much and still up to this day. I wish he didn't treat her that way. It was just so sad to see that and at the end he regret everything.

Always loved Elvis remember when he went into the army and when he came home. If he had no feelings for Pricilla he would not have asked her parents; she loved him but he was in control she was just a young teenager that he molded into what he wanted. I believe she loved him just could not compete with actress’s although she was just as beautiful as any of his co stars. I sincerely wish they could have made it work seeing them together was great. The drugs was a major issue starting in the Army to stay awake continued after coming home he also had a dark side. I enjoyed the movie very much actually after it ended I was in tears. It's like 42 years you go there you have all this Access fans know more about you and your Dad than you do which is sad. You go to Graceland and you do what you claim in the past that you go through all his stuff and things we can't get to and she should know everything. And you don't know your Father said that. But you know all about those Millions of Dollar's. But she goes through all his stuff to make sure she git all his Money and the insurance and Bank accounts and so on. He had a lot of pressure on him with priscilla to. Priscilla and her father said that if he didn't marry her they would spread a lot of rumors that weren't true about him. He cried the night before there wedding because of it. He said he just couldn't do it. Also he said that he isn't the king he said that the king is our lord and savior jesus christ. It was the generation of men then. Not all Elvis's fault. Plus, who knows what power and fame can to do a person's mind. We weren't in the position he was in at the time. I couldn't have been an easy life for either of them. I love and respect Priscilla for having the courage to write this book and for keeping his legacy going with his family and Graceland. He would have loved to have seen the his grandchildren. The book is a good read. Priscilla has some really funny stories in it about Elvis. She did not write this to tarnish his reputation because I am sure that there were plenty of other things that she knew he wouldn't want shared. She knew how private of a person he was. The movie leaves out a lot of the positive things that she wrote about him. I am by no means an expert on Elvis. I am just a huge fan giving my thoughts. Read the book! lol

I took this movie with a huge grain of salt. I've always been a Elvis fan that truly believes he loved Priscilla and she him. But I also think her image, especially to Elvis fans, took a huge hit when she left him for that skeevy karate teacher and i think a lot of this movie was intended to repair that damage and make her look more sympathetic and give more logic and reason as to why she left Elvis for another man so soon after their marriage. I'd say the movie is probably 50/50 on the true facts of their life together. We'll never know Elvis's side, which I believe would be a lot different than this movie version.

This is a great movie. Even though it may seem that this would not be how Elvis would act it probably was. Sure its kinda of mean, but he was only human and he made mistakes to. Priscilla & Elvis made a great couple and I truly believe they loved each other will all their hearts. Priscilla still does a great job keeping Graceland up and running. If it wasn't for her us Elvis fans couldn't be able to visit Graceland.

Also hè had nightmare's and couldn't sleep Hè took medicins to make him sleep, the uppers we're too keep him up at the concerts. Honestly my opinion I think he had some sort of psychosis from the medicins but no one knew that much about it then. My mum is a livver patiënt and got psychosis due to medicins. The knowledge was less then now. It would explain some of the odd behaviour. Elvis was like the doctor prescribes them to me so it is ok. Never aware of the side effects medicins have.

I love Priscilla and still enjoy this movie. She was with him 13 years and knew him for 17. He loved her until he took his final breath. JD Sumner from the stamps said in his book that in his last breath he probably called to Priscilla wanting her back and that she was the one thing he really wanted at the end that he couldn’t have. I really wish she would remake Elvis and Me again and do it her way. I know I for one would watch it. I still love this movie though. When I saw it at 10 years old it made me an Elvis fan.

I don’t know….if she was treated so badly & so unhappy why have such an adoring relationship with each other after the divorce? And I don’t believe in we stayed best friends for the child..I have co-parented wonderfully without being best friends. She joined him for every holiday, concert & to this day loves & respects him. Her Mom passed away a couple weeks before Elvis week & she was still there. There were even talks of getting back together. I think things are a little exaggerated. I’m not saying he was an Angel but this is hard to believe. Even before his death on numerous drugs he treated his girlfriend like a queen.
