Arguments can be a big part of a couple's life, when you grow together trought fights and flares and still love each others because it made you learn more about the other one... also arguing can be big for you but arguing for them could be just a more emotional conversation for them... never look at what a man says just word to word but more like is own thoughts about it... they s*ck with words but if you could see in a screen what he really think when he says things you would be awed by is thoughts

These videos make me wonder if I have ever truly been in "love". I promise you, there is not a single possibility I'd marry anyone who got me cleaning lessons for my "party", or didn't know me well enough to plan a SINGLE thing that I'd actually want. No damn way.
Those grooms are always classless, thoughtless and selfish. Only one show featured a groom who did everything according to his bride's preferences.... 👎

Where you get married does matter. The point is the ceremony. If you are too good for one venue over the other then all you want is the big wedding not the marriage itself.

I think one of the most famous & recognised brands in the world - ikea - does not need promotion to be honest 😅

finding out how the show is actually produced has completely turned around my view of these grooms. the show's producers make him pitch ideas for the wedding and THEY choose the theme, not him, plus anything the couple has discussed beforehand is automatically discarded - so if she points to a dress and says "i want that one" 6 months before they go on the show, he still can't buy that dress. the producers say it's because "the point is to surprise the bride with something other than what she's expecting!" they're literally scripting conflict and potentially destroying relationships for the sake of ratings.
If she can't deal with whatever happens then she just needs to pay for the wedding herself. This is what you expect when you go on one of these shows.
Reality TV is absolutely cruel to people.

I pretty much expected this, otherwise the brides could do all the planning beforehand.
Also, unless the groom pays for the hen party out of his own pocket the bride has to pay for it. One groom who really loved his bride had her shovel manure. It made me think, why? He really loved her, it was clear, why did he pick this for the hen? It made me research the show, and then I understood. He was sending a message to the viewers that the producers are full of 🐎💩.
That Hen party was a joke. I would've been pissed! She was a lot more polite, I gotta give her credit for that. And IKEA!? I'd make the car take me back home!
it was sweet. She's pregnant so she probably doesn't want a big night out. Ikea was fine. I think it would be fun and unique to be married in IKEA. They're planning this on 10k. Brides have just been fed this ostentatious notion of this fairytale wedding that is unrealistic.

My mums friends won a all paid wedding and trip to the Bahamas, but the catch was they had to have the reception at IKEA and stay the night in the bedding department. Did I mention… the cake was also styled as a big blue square ikea store and the public was invited to join “cake in aisle 5”

Well an all expenses trip to the Bahamas would be worth it. Plus they would know what to expect. The poor bride here it was absolutely a 💩 idea. However to make the choice to do it is different

There has to be some kind of financial consequences if the bride refuses to get married. Like having to pay back the entire 10 grand or something.
My understanding is if the bride refuses, they have to repay the £12,000.

Wow. So they take away all choice from the woman. If she speaks up for herself there is a punitive consequence that will turn into it being her fault. How terrible. Silencing women and taking away their power. Horrific.
I am always amazed about the selfishness, thoughtlessness and immaturity of the grooms on this program. I suppose they chose the couples partly based on that...
Sorry if my groom arranged a wedding at Ikea I would just not leave the car and tell my driver to turn around. Come on that is horrible. That would be just like getting married in Walmart. Wedding reception nice or not. Come on that is a day that the bride should have fond memories not having to listen for years from everyone that she got married in a store, and don't tell me that they won't be laughed at in later years my many because knowing the human race they will be.

Well, I think, in general, men are not detail people. He probably just thought her as recently more thin. The dress probably looked large enough to him. In the 3 weeks since he saw her last perhaps she was a tad bigger. I don't know, but somehow I just can't fault him for that. It is clear that he loves her so much.
Same goes for IKEA. Peculiar, yes. But just horrible, no. In no way do I believe he meant to embarrass or humiliate her. Weird thinking maybe. Memory making for sure. I wish them well.

Hen party cleaning. How insulting! I’m surprised they went on with it.
A handful of minutes in and i thought it was going to be aweful, but i think he did well and pulled something special off. Very unique, with a lot of thought put in to it. The bride was beautiful and such a good sport.
A bit disappointed with this wedding. She is wonderful though! I wish her all the happiness in the world!

Was telepathically screaming at my phone as soon as he first picked out that dress & was having it tried on by the store model....."but she's pregnant!!" Please mention she's pregnant! That way one of the woman there can steer him in the right direction. Not every pregnant woman is Rhianna & wants to have their bump on full display. Poor girl, with all those hormones already, she was probably in such an emotional state to begin with. Then add in the unfortunate tragedy of her losing two precious angels previously whilst around the same time along in her pregnancy now & she was undoubtedly & rightfully so, probably an emotional wreck even just stepping in to the dress store. Then you don't like it!! Oh dear, you poor thing. Thankfully they were able to quickly appease her mind & let her know something could b done about it to make her feel more comfortable. Every woman deserves to feel beautiful on their wedding day (especially if it's inside an IKEA store🤦🏼♀️).

My question still is: why would any sane person make his pregnant bride take a lesson in cleaning as part of her hen's do? did he forget she lost 2 babies giving birth before term? Yes, I have seen so many other episodes of this show where the grooms were so incredibly thoughtful that I was moved to tears. They really made the day special for their wives. I felt so embarrassed for this bride.

She lost Two children at five months pregnant.Why on earth would she go through the stress of a reality TV show wedding at five months pregnant didn't make scenes at all.Not to mention the rest of it.
She lost her children due to a genetical condition. Unfortunately, for once, stress is not gonna make things worse.
It seems to me as if most of these couples have never talked about a wedding what they want what they like... Like I'm sure if you want your partner to know what you want you have to tell them and this couple has had more than enough time to discuss what she and he like and want!!!!

The conversation between the parents is a perfect example why women usually plan the wedding. Most men just don’t care too much about the details and what is wedding if not a collection of tens or hundreds of smaller and bigger details

I guess everyone will call me crazy for saying this, but what I like about this crazy idea of his is he's focused on their real world life together. So many people want a fantasy wedding, but this had such a real world feel. I don't know if I am articulating it properly, but the way I think he looks at her, fights at IKEA and all, IS his fantasy. He is living it already! There's just something so real about it. I don't feel it was out of selfishness. Just like maybe he actually wanted her bumb to show because he so happy about having a new baby. I know my husband found me most attractive when I was pregnant with his child.

I would assume IKEA charged a lot. One time, I needed a space for an artistic activity in Athens(Greece) and was trying to find a space, the prices were incredible, like 3000€ a day in a space that was meant for artistic exhibitions, imagine what would IKEA charge.

I feel like yes the dress was tight, but she usually wears fitted dress, he didn’t even know what lace was called but telepathically knew she’d like it and would look nice on her. Although he’s not the perfect groom definitely not the best wedding 😭 I do think he put genuine thought and care into most of it, that being said let’s not be too positive cause clearly he’s a little dense💀 cleaning?? Was it what she imagined.. no. BUT he put a lot of thought, effort, and work into it. The dress was tight, but even her friend said that it was a dress she would've loved right away if she hadn't been pregnant. Now that hen party was not cool and he should definitely be in trouble for that one

These weddings are as bad as my sister's was, her in laws to be planned it and it was in our local park. I am not kidding in a park with picnic tables that should have foreshadowed her life with my no good brother in law. Even worse they spent the wedding night at his sisters house. If your wedding is this bad run ladies, run fast. Why don't these men ever get advise from their mothers. I am positive his mother would have told him an IKEA wedding is a very bad idea.
