Being of my descent I'll never be fully accepted in white american society, I've accepted this as a fact and I'm cool with it. Every race is still very racist people just hide it very well these days. So I don't really try too hard to be friends with people of other races who are men but my own. JJJ has stepped up his game in the NBA. Dude’s not intimidated at all.
4 years of Cronin will do that. It takes a special kind of person to be able to withstand it. JJJ is a byproduct of Cronin.
He has everything it takes to become a superstar in this league. Perfect size, athleticism, dribbling, passing, shooting. He can defend a little bit too.
His passing & vision makes him so much more interesting to watch for sure because he creates opportunities for everyone. A player who can score like that & see the court like that will be a huge help for the Heat.

Jaime's offense is truly pleasing to the eye. He always seizes the opportunity between the flashes of lightning, adjusts his steps adeptly to maneuver through tight spaces, creating scoring opportunities for himself!

If you watched him at UCLA, it was obvious his skill set would translate well to the pro level. Probably would've been a lottery pick if it weren't for his age. Most NBA teams are still afraid to take chances on players who are slightly older even if they're more NBA ready. I think he could be a slightly lesser Brandon Roy calibre player but without the degenerative knee issues.
Good analysis but no, he can be much better than Brandon Roy. They put a cap on Jimmy’s abilities, Bam’s, Wade’s. You should know better than to try to find this kids ceiling, he’s barely even attempted creating his own shot yet.

@@DMary27 That's a good point. Some players just have more drive and determination to continue improving. Butler is actually a great comparison. Jaquez doesn't seem like the kind of player who is just happy to be in the league so he can bang Instagram models. Plus, Miami is arguably the best team to be in as far as player development.
