Thank you! And yes, I started two or three years ago with smallsword, but it was his fencing that made me fall in love with what he does. It takes time to realise your own limits and know what you can and cannot do and how to adapt certain movements to your body type. Very much a lengthy introspective work. I do recommend you start with something maybe a little easier. What are you planning on starting with?
Thanks it's been quite the year! And I hope to be able to keep it up in the next. Also I was never afraid of his blade. But it is tricky when you're using a heavier one against a very light and nimble sword.
Ahah that's the beautiful part, at least for me. I never fence to win (in fact I don't even care), I just fence just to have fun above all else :) - Rui
Pues claro que si. Ese era el taller Esko Ronimus, y nosotros en el club también la practicamos cuando Miguel da clase. Pronto subiremos vídeos de sparring con Sidesword. Un abrazo!
I’m late to the debut, but this may be one of my favourite Christmas gifts this year. Fabulous, truly fabulous work!
Merry Christmas! :D It was one of the reasons why I also posted this on the 24th, just felt all the followers of the channel deserved a little treat.
Davids beautiful fencing is part of why i am getting into smallsword (4-5 weeks... waiting my time). To me both seem very competent

The improvement of Rui is crazy good, way more stable posture and way less fear of Pascal's sword XD

It's great
Thank you! :)

Esas sidesword en el fondo me dan esperanzas de que la gente aún practica esa arma.
