The foothills of the tepuis where the lowland helis is growing is at an elevation of 900-1200m. A nephentes growing at that altitude they would be called intermediate. Great video! I will make a video about my take on growing heliamphora as soon as the garden season is over.😀👍
Agree with the H. Minor being fairly easy to grow. I grow some in my windowsill since 2022. And from 3 barrely adult pitchers now i have 2 pots full of plants almost outgrowing its media. The best thing is they survived last summer head with maximums of even 35 - 39 °C 😳 (and rather 27-30 °C across the whole summer day and night)
Interesting what you do with yours I’ve grown mine for 6 years the opposite, sat on a south facing windowsill no added humidity, water the pitchers once and only again if they are empty but never had a burn line. I also flood mine when watering to the point the water is at the top of the pot and wait for them to go damp before watering again. Interesting how different they can be grown
YEah without enclosure i was not able to do it so i gave up on this one, just not worth the stress to provide its habitat hahah happy with the others, great video!

any product recommendations for feeding? beneficial inoculants?
Can they eat fungus gnats and fruit flys?
