    Because of your former Video i bought this baby.... Its a lot of fun and its my beat machine in our band. I put some bigger letters on for controlling the 3 variations of each at low light and s. o.... Sounds good when connected to our PA/Monitors....nice toy, nice effects at low price...good to ensure there are crazy😉 people around the world like you, using no cutting edge Equipment and nevertheless having fun! Greetings from Germany

    i played this one a few years ago
    mainly just the organ and synth sounds impressed me
    the biggest surprise for me was how awesome the slap bass sound was, it sounded so out of place compared to the other mediocre bass sounds…

      Agreed. Watching is video after I uploaded it, I was surprised at how good the beats sounded. They seemed so tinny in my headphones.

    AHL is one of my least favorite sound sources from Casio. AiX from the CT-X series is good in terms of sounds and rhythm styles, but the Song Bank is highly disappointing being nearly identical to the AHL Song Bank. HL and A^2 are my favorite sound sources, mainly because of their outstanding Song Bank with songs like Down in The Valley, Red River Valley, and Rasa Sayang.

      AiX does without a doubt trump AHL. However, The organ and leslie emulator on the WK-7600 with its AHL chip is comparable to any other digital organ not costing thousands and thousands. Still use it to this day and Casio still haven't effectively replaced it, being a 76 key instrument with drawbar organ capabilities.

    This will happen to the groove creater on the Yamaha e463 in a few years show it's age.

    I've been looking for a keyboard, used or new, so I can start learning but at the same time i want something I won't just grow out of when I get good enough (optimistic, I know) and every time I find a keyboard with features I like you have it reviewed wonderfully. Thank you.
    I have my eyes set on a WK-3200 and a CTK-800, both used and in very good shape and a CT-S200 new, all for the same price. What would you say is better for me?

    • @gearfacts
      @gearfacts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd definitely choose the WK-3200. Any Casio model that starts with WK is a class above the other Casios, they have more keys and lots of additional features :)

    I just visited 2 music stores yesterday and I did play the Casio WK6600 and was impressed with the sounds but wow, I disgusted at all the keyboards made that do not have 5 pin din midi! Even some of the pro keyboards from Roland, Akai, and Yamaha did not have a midi in or out port. So my choices for controlling my midi devices were very very limited,to OLD keyboards only or expensive workstations and some cheesy small controllers. This casio here sounds like the WK6600. I am amazed at how Casio has come a long way with the beats and sounds since the 90s!

    That one does sound disappointing. I’ve got a question for you.Have you ever reviewed a Berhinger V- amp modeling pedal yet ?

    • @gearfacts
      @gearfacts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ah, that funny old guy, yes I reviewed him long long ago. It's got a good sound as I recall, but a cryptic interface and very flimsy build. I'll get the link, hold the phone...

      Actually maybe not ...I think I know the one you're talking about and I've only done the bass version. Closest I have is the X-Vamp multi effects: th-cam.com/video/0DYmoVtx4JY/w-d-xo.html
