Ah how lovely. We stayed at the Kixby just a week after you, and discovered the roof terrace also, it was incredible and amazing for the price!

Love this!! So wish we could’ve seen you in NYC-we were supposed to go around Christmas and couldn’t find a hotel. (We’d never visited during the holidays.) Your hotel looks great-I’ll have to remember this for the next time we’re in the City. You’re SO RIGHT about Times Square-once you’ve been, you really don’t need to go back! Love Bryant Park and those markets-you guys had a GREAT location! And wow-Virgin airlines look fabulous! I wonder if we can fly them next time we go to London! Can’t wait to see more of your vlogs! Nice vlog. We try to spend 2-3 days in NYC every couple years to get a new borough and have a nice cultural food tour. Hope you enjoy yourselves. Hotel looks amazing… We stayed there in 2017 when it was Hotel Metro and it was lovely then, but so much nicer now. And I also love New York but absolutely hate Times Square. Great video, look forward to the rest. 😁 xx

Great vlog, I’m so jealous. I’ve spent New year with the horrible flu like bug that’s been doing the rounds, currently off work. The food on the plane looks lovely, pays to go premium obviously 👍🏻x

I stayed at this hotel in 2012 when it was the Hotel Metro, it was nice then but it looks lovely now 😊 Also I’m with you on Times Square, not my favourite place!
The hotel was lovely. So many people have great reviews if it. I’d definitely stay there again. Hmmm yeah it’s not my favourite, too fragrant now lol xxx

How much city tax did you end up paying? and where there any other fees etc?
Love NYC been multiple times not a fan of times square.We took my 12 year old daughter for her frst trip last year and kept getting asked if she wanted to buy weed couldn't actually believe it.

hi em..my bucket list trip..wanted to go to ny since i was 5 ! we have decided to save hard for december 2024..how do we get from the airport to the hotel...also im scared about getting lost ! lol..is it easy to get around thank you x
Totally do it. We always get a taxi to and from the airport. It’s a set price around 80/90 dollars each way so you need to allocate for that cost. We just used the subway. I get confused by it a bit but once you get the hang of it it’s just a big grid xx

Can I ask please do you think a disabled person in a wheelchair could do newyork ???
I think if I was to give any advise in that respect it would be to plan a trip when it’s quiet. We’ve been in Jan/Feb and it’s usually quiet but then you are hit and miss with the weather and snow/ice.
I would say 100% Virgin Atlantic would be helpful and supportive flying. I’m terms of getting around I think it would have to be Ubers as I didn’t see many lifts on the subways or ramps. I would say to research the places you would like to visit and check they have wheelchair access. I hope this is helpful? xxx
